All Brauns Towing

This seems to be a a predatory towing company. Is anyone is interested we can file a class action suit?. They towed my car and damaged property. Needless to say besides the loss of property, changing high fees, in these distressed times, they were extremely unprofessional. I was not let into the office since the person at the front office could not open the office .He was in the bathroom for over an hour?

Worst experience I’ve ever had with any tow company. They are charging 100% more than other local companies, customer service is terrible, was told to go fk myself by dispatching employee. Watched my truck being towed away asked and singled for them to let me get my truck off of the tow truck. Was then told they could not have drivers drop the car where it was and that I would have to pay an additional 200 storage fee even if able to get there car within 30 min. Employees have no control over helping customers with pricing, it is obviously in the Al’s best interest to tow store and keep your car behind his fate knowing that someone is following the car there. Price gouging during financial crisis and in general terrible platform of business.

This Tow Company is extremely unprofessional, They are not following the law when it comes to respecting rules and regulations. I was parked for less than five minutes to drop off my kids and was towed, They are on patrol at Alvista at the Bridge apartments that is against the law. If you go on the web and read our rights it does say that we have one hour before we even get towed, I spent less that 5 minutes dropping of my kids at home. This is ridiculous. This is how they Market and make business, they have no respect at all especially in these difficult times of dam COVID. THEY DO NOT DESERVES STARS!

This company is nothing but fraud ! They make their money off preying on people! I was delivering groceries for a resident & being watched by their driver who was parked in a parking spot! As soon as I walked to the residents door, he pulled up & took my car & then told Hayward Police I was double parked but left out how they were watching me unload groceries! I was left stranded & tried to explain I am not a guest but a delivery driver. They were very rude & demanded cash only ...$435 for my car & $120 for my personal property which included my purse & gifts that were donated to my son since I am a single mother who was trying to make extra money for Christmas. I also have a dash cam video showing the incident!

This company stole my truck while is was on and hid the keys. I called them to ask them why the tow a running car and the person answering the phone hang up the phone 4 times refusing to give me a reason. Shady business. They claimed my manger call which is not true because I asked her and she said she didn’t call them to tow my truck

Scammers & Predatory Towing
11/7/2019 - Boulevard Apartment on Stevens Boulevard.
The driver picked up my car at 7:31 pm while I was coming out of my house to put a guest pass for the vehicle parked in the guest zone for 10 mins. I have stopped the vehicle while they are towing my car and requested them to put the vehicle down.
The driver has given me an ultimatum of two choices while the vehicle on the property. They driver claimed that I have to think fast and would I be paying in cash or card
1. come to Stevenson boulevard and pick the vehicle on the street for $280
2. Come to yard and pay $500
And then rushed his way from the parking lot. One of the towing guy dropped of the vehicle and asked if I am willing to pay immediately or not.
Finally I paid them $280 , while the vehicle is left on the road in a wrong direction.
I have a receipt claiming that the vehicle is dropped at the yard for $280
Looks like its the company policy to reply to the customer "Take us to court, if you can".
Their business model seems to be banking on the fact that most people wont bother going to court to fight for $500

Fraudulent by Brauns Towing Service I am a victim of a wrongful predatory tow on private property. This is a bad towing company that does not follow California towing laws. Violated my rights on private property for towing my own vehicle parked in front of my place during the middle of unloading step away to put my things inside. Cone back out car is gone less then 5 mins.

Please help address this matter and flag this company for wrongful towing. Please look into this company and see if they should have a towing licence for conducting wrongful acts.

This tow company charged me $490.00 dollars to get my car back after towing it for wrongful parking. Within ten minutes of parking my vehicle it was towed away and I was charged 490.00 USD to retrieve my vehicle. This is a ridiculous amount for only having towed my vehicle less than a mile away and storing it for less than an hour. After hanging up in my face when I asked why so much, the man decided he would only communicate through text. I waited outside All Brauns Towing for an hour before two men pulled up asking for cash only.

I parked a car in front of my own property for less than 10 minutes to unload something heavy in the rain. The towing company appears to be driving around the neighborhood looking for cars to tow when the owner walks off, which is very low.
Max, the owner, is extremely rude on the phone. When questioned about the breakdown of the costs (and how my fines are much greater than a neighbor's charges), he would reply "well prices change." The amount charged is also twice as much as what other towing companies charge at around $400-500+. He also demanded that the payment must be made in cash, even though there is a credit card machine in the office.
The whole business is a *** and should be thoroughly audited.

Sleezy--is the best word to describe All Brauns Towing. We were charged $522.21 yesterday to tow our car from the *** Apartments in Hayward to their location at *** (6.1 miles). Yes, we parked illegally at the apartment, but my husband and I are 70 years old and were unloading heavy wedding presents at the back of the complex for our son's upcoming wedding. There is no where else to park. We were parked there less than an hour when someone called from the complex to report our car and All Brauns showed up when we happened to be in the apartment.
The breakdown of the costs: $225 towing, $95 storage charge (less than one hour), $112 gate charge and a dolly charge for $75. We were charged additionally because we didn't pay in cash. When we arrived at All Braun, which has no name on the building, the door was wide open and there was someone in the office plus a couple of tow drivers. They claimed they weren't open so we were charged $112 for what was obviously a scam. $95 for a few minutes storage. How is this company allowed to stay in business when they are scamming people like this?

The purpose of this review is to share a negative experience with All Brauns Towing Company in Hayward, CA: 1) they charge exaggerated fees, and 2) the company did not leave a note notifying me of the tow or any contact information. I had to call my local police department to determine the destination of my car.
I had to pay $400 to recover my car in cash, and for a working-class family this caused a significant financial burden. Their practices hurts working-class families, and preys on struggling communities!
