THIS LETTER IS RESPONSE TO THE ABOVE COMPLAINT.ON SEPT12, THE CUSTOMER DID PURCHASE A USED REFRIG FROMALL BRANDSTHE CUSTOMER DID PURCHASE ONE OF THE NICER UNITS ON THE FLOOR AND WAS ALSO GIVEN A DISCOUNT OFF OF THE UNIT AS HE WAS RECOMMENDED TO COME AND PURCHASE FROM US FROM HISFAMILY WHO HAD MADE THEIR PURCHASES FROM US SEVERAL TIMES IN THE PAST & WERE SATISIFIED CUSTOMERSHE PURCHASED FROM US FORTHE REASON FROM THEM THAT WE THOROUGHLY GO OVER EACH UNIT& REPLACE IF NECESSARY ANY COMPONENTS ETC., BASICALLY REFURBISHING THEM & THEN SELLING THEMWE ARE A SERVICE COTHAT OFFERS USED SALES & WE ALSO PROVIDE A WARRANTY OF DAYPART & LABOR & YR ON THE COMPRESSOR PART ONLY WARRANTY FORTHE REFRIGERATORON OCTOBER 7, THE CUSTOMER CALLED AS STATED & WE SENT A TECHNICIAN IMMEDIATELY OUT UNDER WARRANTY AS HE STATED FROSTWAS IN THE FREEZERWE FOUND THE UNIT FREEZER & REFRIGERATOR SECTIONS BOTH COOLING & FREEZING PROPERLY THAT IT WAS THE FLAP ON THE ICE DISPENSOR STUCK OPEN CAUSING CONDENSATIONFROM THE WARM AIR MIXING WITH THE FREEZER AIRTHE TECHNICIANAT THAT TIME EXPLAINED THAT WAS THE REASON AND ALTHOUGHTHE PART WAS NOT BAD THE TECHNICIAN ORDERED & INSTALLED ANEW DOOR CHUTEWE DID NOT CHARGE THE CUSTOMER AS IT WASUNDER DAYS SINCE HE PURCHASED THE UNIT AND THE TECHNICIANEXPLAINED THAT THE UNIT WILL HAVE THIS OCCUR AGAIN IF THE DOORCHUTE AFTER USING THE CRUSHED ICE DISPENSOR DOESN’T CLOSE ITWILL BUILD UP WITH FROST AGAINON NOVEMBER 26, 2015, THE CUSTOMER CALLED AS STATED FOR SAMEPROBLEM & AGAIN WE SENT A TECHNICIAN OUT RIGHT AWAYTHE TECHNICIAN AT THAT TIME FOUND THE SAME SITUATION WITH THE ICE SHOOT FROZE DUE TO THE FLAP GETTING STUCK OPEN AFTER USAGE& THE TECHNICIAN AT THAT TIME EXPLAINED TO THE CUSTOMER THATIT IS A DESIGN THAT WE CAN’T CHANGE AND HE PUT WHITE TAPE ONTHE ICE SHOOT AND EXPLAINED TO THE CUSTOMER THAT IT MIGHTHELP BUT IT IS NOT A FIX AS THE PROBLEM IS WITH THE DESIGN OF THE ICEMAKER & DISPENSOR COMPONENTS AND THE ONLY WAY TOPREVENT THIS FROM HAPPENING IS TO MAKE SURE THE DOOR CHUTEIS CLOSED AFTER GETTING CRUSHED ICE & TO ALSO WIPE THE DISPENSOR OF WATER THAT BUILDS UP WHEN THE WATER FREEZES ON THESURFACE IT CAUSES ICE TO JAMTHE SHAVINGS FROM THE CRUSHEDICE HOLD THE CHUTE OPEN & THEN IT FREEZES UPTHE CUSTOMERSTATED HE ASKED WHY HE WAS NOT TOLD THIS PRIOR TO MAKING HIS PURCHASE AND THE TECHNICIAN DID NOT SAY IT WAS NOT ALL BRANDSRESPONSIBILITY, ALL BRANDS EXPLAINED THAT WE DON’T KNOW THATTHIS MODEL WAS DESIGNED IN SUCH A WAY & WE WOULD HAVE NO WAY TO KNOW THAT THE UNIT WOULD HAVE TO BE CLEANED AFTEREACH USETHERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE UNIT & THERE ISNOTHING BROKE ON THE UNITTHE UNIT JUST HAS A DESIGN THATYOU HAVE TO MAKE SURE THE CHUTE CLOSES AFTER EACH USETHE CUSTOMER WAS NOT CHARGED FOR THIS SERVICE EVEN THOUGH IT WAS NO LONGER UNDER WARRANTY IT WAS CONSIDERED BY ALL BRANDS TO KEEP A HAPPY CUSTOMER.ON DECEMBER 19, 2014, THE CUSTOMER DID CALL PERSISTANT THATALL BRANDS COME LOOK AT THE REFRIGERATOR THAT HE FELT THAT IT WAS NOT WORKINGALL BRANDS SET UP THE CALL FOR A TECHNICIANTO COMEWHEN THE TECHNICIAN SAW THAT WE WERE GOING AGAINFOR A SERVICE CALL HE CALLED THE CUSTOMER BEFORE GOING TOSEE WHAT THE ISSUE WAS BECAUSE NOT ONLY WAS IT OFF OF WARRANTY BUT HE WANTED TO KNOW MORE CAUSE IF IT WAS RELATED TO THE ICE MAKER HE HAD ALREADY EXPLAINED THAT TO THE CUSTOMER THE TWO TIMES PRIOR AS TO WHAT HE NEEDED TO DO WITHTHE REFRIGERATORTHE CUSTOMER STATED ON THE PHONE THAT, YES,IT WAS THE SAME ISSUE BUT FELT HE SHOULD NOT HAVE TO DEAL WITHIT AND WAS NOT GOING TO PAY FOR ALL BRANDS TO COME SO THE TECHNICIAN STATED HE WAS NOT GOING TO COME BACK AS THERE IS NOTHING HE CAN DO & THAT HE NEEDED TO DO WHAT WAS TOLD AND RECOMMENDED FOR HIM TO DO AND WIPE THE CHUNKS AWAY ASHE PREVIOUSLY SHOWED HIM AND THE CUSTOMER DID NOT WANT TO DO THAT SO THE TECHNICIAN EXPLAINED THAT WE CAN COME AND DO THATBUT HE WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR THAT SERVICEHE EXPLAINED TO THE CUSTOMER THAT AFTER EACH USE HE WAS SUPPOSED TO MAKE SURE THE CHUTE WAS CLOSED AND THAT ALL BRANDS CAN NOT KEEP COMING BACK TO CLEAN HIS REFRIGERATORTHE CUSTOMER BECAME ANGEREDAND HUNG UP.THE CUSTOMER MINUTES LATER STORMED INTO ALL BRANDS ANGERED AND SAYING THAT ALL BRANDS IS NOT STANDING BEHIND THE PRODUCTS THEY SELL AND THAT HE WOULD LIKE HIS MONEY BACKALL BRANDS TRIED TO EXPLAIN TO THE CUSTOMER HE HAS NICE, WORKING REFRIGERATOR WITH NOTHING WRONG WITH IT AND WE DO AND DID STAND BEHIND IT THAT HE DOES NOT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH IT AND HE AGREES WITH THAT BUT DOESN’T WANT TO DEAL WITH ITWE EXPLAINED WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS AND WILL NOT BE RETURNING HIS MONEY AND THE CUSTOMER DID NOT WANT TO ACCEPT THAT ANDBECAME ARGUMENTATIVETHE CUSTOMER WAS ASKED TO LEAVE SEVERAL TIMESAS THE CUSTOMER STATES ON HIS COMPLAINT ONCE HE ARRIVED AT ALL BRANDS HE STATED THAT THIS WAS NOT ACCEPTABLE AND MADE SEVERAL REQUESTS AND WAS WANTING TO TAKE THE TECHNICIAN OUTSIDE TO FIGHTALL BRANDS TOLD HIM AGAIN TO LEAVEAND IF HE DIDN’T WERE CALLING HE WAS AGAIN NOT GOING TO LEAVE SO ALL BRANDS DIALED AND BEFORE THE DISPATCH CAME ON THE PHONE HIS FIANCE SAID THEY NEED TO GO NOW AND THEY LEFTALL BRANDS HAD ANOTHER CUSTOMER IN THE STORE AT THE COUNTER WITNESSING THE WHOLE INCIDENT AND AFTER THE CUSTOMER LEFT GAVE ALL BRANDS HIS INFORMATION IN CASE THE CUSTOMER WAS TO RETURN AS HE SAID HE FEARED THE CUSTOMER AS WELLALL BRANDS DOES NOT KNOW OF THE CUSTOMER BEING A VETERAN OR ANYTHING OF ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION REGARDING THE CUSTOMER SO ALL BRANDS IS UNAWARE OF THAT.ALL BRANDS WILL NOT BE RETURNING THE CUSTOMERS MONEY NOR REFUNDING ANY MONEYTHE CUSTOMER HAS A WORKING REFRIGERATOR THAT HE IS FULLY USING WITH NO PROBLEMS.THANK YOU.ALL BRANDS APPLIANCEHOLLY RDNEENAH, WI 54956###-###-####

All Brands received a phone call from a customer stating that she has a washer that needs repair and was wondering if it was worth repairing or having someone come out to look at it first to see if it is worth repairing before she would go out and purchase a new unit in the case that maybe it would be something minor and she would fix it rather than going and purchasing a new one right awayWe then asked her what it was doing so we could possibly guide her in her decision over the phone but we do not know for sure without looking at itWe also asked her what brand it was & she said what it was & that it wasn't spinningWe went onto explain that it could be a handful of things with that trouble but typically it has been known to be roughly a $or more repair but we wouldn't know what it would cost unless someone or us looked at itWe said she will have at least that into it or more for any repair as the cost of the parts, labor, & serviceWe told her the charges for the service call/estimate fee & she decided to schedule a call to have us see if it would be worth fixingAt that time upon taking the customers information we had her in our system as we had previously serviced her before so she was fully aware of our service company and the rates we charge etcand there was nothing out of the ordinaryThe technician found the problem and proceeded to explain what was wrong with the machine & the cost of the repair and the customer starting yelling about the cost of the repairThe technician then said she obviously doesn't want to repair it and he needs to collect for the service call as we collect at the time of serviceShe was informed of this procedure prior to us scheduling and has had our service before and was totally satisified then that it was shocking for such a reaction from herShe also called the office literally screaming into the phone calling the technician a liar and a thief and rudeThe office tried to calm her down & we explained that we don't know over the phone what it would be & that we are sorry it ended up to be an expensive repair but it is out of our handsShe paid for the service call/estfee which is the charge of what everyone gets charged for us to come out & give an estimate and that she was fully aware of if no repair is made

CHUNKS AWAY ASHE PREVIOUSLY SHOWED HIM AND THE CUSTOMER DID NOT WANT TO DO
THAT SO THE TECHNICIAN EXPLAINED THAT WE CAN COME AND DO THATBUT HE WILL  HAVE TO
PAY FOR THAT SERVICE. HE EXPLAINED TO THE CUSTOMER THAT AFTER EACH USE HE WAS
SUPPOSED TO MAKE SURE THE CHUTE WAS CLOSED AND THAT ALL BRANDS CAN NOT KEEP
COMING BACK TO CLEAN HIS REFRIGERATOR. THE CUSTOMER BECAME ANGEREDAND HUNG  UP.THE CUSTOMER 15 MINUTES LATER STORMED INTO ALL BRANDS
ANGERED AND SAYING THAT ALL BRANDS IS NOT STANDING BEHIND THE PRODUCTS THEY SELL AND THAT HE WOULD LIKE HIS MONEY
BACK. ALL BRANDS TRIED TO EXPLAIN TO THE CUSTOMER HE HAS NICE, WORKING
REFRIGERATOR WITH NOTHING WRONG WITH IT AND WE DO AND DID STAND BEHIND IT THAT
HE DOES NOT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH IT AND HE AGREES WITH THAT BUT DOESN’T WANT TO
DEAL WITH IT. WE EXPLAINED WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS AND WILL NOT BE RETURNING
HIS MONEY AND THE CUSTOMER DID NOT WANT TO ACCEPT THAT ANDBECAME ARGUMENTATIVE. THE CUSTOMER WAS ASKED TO LEAVE
SEVERAL TIMES. AS THE CUSTOMER STATES ON HIS COMPLAINT ONCE HE ARRIVED AT ALL
BRANDS HE STATED THAT THIS WAS NOT ACCEPTABLE AND MADE SEVERAL REQUESTS AND WAS
WANTING TO TAKE THE TECHNICIAN OUTSIDE TO FIGHT. ALL BRANDS TOLD HIM AGAIN TO
LEAVEAND IF HE DIDN’T WERE CALLING 911. HE WAS AGAIN NOT GOING TO
LEAVE SO ALL BRANDS DIALED 911 AND BEFORE THE DISPATCH CAME ON THE PHONE HIS
FIANCE SAID THEY NEED TO GO NOW AND THEY LEFT. ALL BRANDS HAD ANOTHER CUSTOMER
IN THE STORE AT THE COUNTER WITNESSING THE WHOLE INCIDENT AND AFTER THE
CUSTOMER LEFT GAVE ALL BRANDS HIS  INFORMATION IN CASE THE CUSTOMER WAS TO RETURN AS HE SAID HE FEARED THE

All Brands did not tell us to keep the ice chute clear of debris until after I had to go the store on the final day.  Between the call in November and December we did not use the ice maker because we wanted to see if that was truly causing the issue.  Given that the fridge continued to not work properly this points to another issue could be causing the frosting.  The only thing we were told to do after a technician left was to empty the ice tray and dry everything out that we could. I find it very interesting that All Brands was able to identify the design flaw when the fridge was frosting up but did not bring that up when selling the fridge.  This obviously points to prior knowledge of a potential issue.Before I arrived at the store it was All Brands who hung up on me not the other way around. It was the owner of the store who continued to try and take the situation outside to fight.  I was not interested in this course of action.  The other customer in the store left before we did so there is no way he stayed after we left to leave his information.  The remarks regarding me coming back to blow up the place because I was a veteran were made after the owner accused me of having a criminal background/history and I notified him that I did not have any history and I couldn't because I am in the military.All Brands set a precedence by continuing to try and repair the fridge with the service calls following the initial one.Regards,

Review: I purchased a used fridge from All Brands Appliance on September 12, 2014. I selected this fridge after being told that it was one of the nicer used units they had it the store and that they tested the fridge prior to putting it on the sales floor. We were also told that the fridge came with a 30 day warranty for parts and labor. On October 7, 2014 I made a service call because there was frost build up in the freezer. All Brands ordered a new flap/seal for the ice dispenser and came back on October 9, 2014 to install the part. Unfortunately when they did the service they turned the freezer off and did not notify anyone that it was off or needed to be turned back on. This led to me having to throw out over $100 worth of food. When I called to let them know this happened I was told that they always turn the units back on after the service is complete so this should not have happened. We placed a second call to All Brands for the same issue. They sent a repair representative out look at the freezer. He put white tape on the ice shoot in the door hoping this was the problem. Then on November 26th I placed another Service Call for the same issue. The repair representative tightened one screw in the freezer and left. With the problem persisting I called again on December 19, 2014 expecting they would come take another look at the freezer to fix the frost issue. I was told that the fridge was out of warranty and they would not come out and look at it. This seemed very confusing to me because they have tried to fix this freezer 3 times already and the last two times were past that 30 day mark. When I said that this was unacceptable and I expected them to fix the issue I brought to their attention in October I was told that there was nothing they could do and that this model of fridge is known for this issue. When I asked why I was not told this prior to making this purchase I was told that it was not there responsibility to provide that information and was promptly hung up on. At this point my Fiancé and I got into the car and drove to All Brands to speak to the owner face to face and try to find a resolution. Once I arrived at All Brands I stated that this was not acceptable and that they needed to stand behind the product they sold me or take the fridge back and return my money. After making this request several times the owner of the business walked out from behind the counter and got within 1 foot of myself. At this point he stated the following things to me; asked me to “take this outside”, stated that because I am a veteran he has to be worried I am going to come back and blow up the place, called me a “punk [redacted] kid”, and threaten to call the police on me. On top of all of this behavior toward myself, the owner of the company told my fiancé she was a “smart women for not marry a jack- [redacted] like him” At this point I left the business stating that I would take the needed actions to correct this wrong and that I would make sure people heard about my experience with this business.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded for the purchase price of the fridge and the food that I had to throw out from the result of the repair person not turning the freezer back on.

SENT A TECHNICIAN IMMEDIATELY OUT UNDER WARRANTY AS HE STATED FROSTWAS IN THE FREEZER. WE FOUND THE UNIT FREEZER &

REFRIGERATOR SECTIONS BOTH COOLING & FREEZING PROPERLY THAT IT WAS THE FLAP ON THE ICE DISPENSOR STUCK OPEN CAUSING CONDENSATIONFROM THE WARM AIR MIXING WITH THE FREEZER AIR. THE

TECHNICIANAT THAT TIME EXPLAINED THAT WAS THE REASON AND ALTHOUGHTHE PART WAS NOT BAD THE TECHNICIAN ORDERED & INSTALLED

DOORCHUTE AFTER USING THE CRUSHED ICE DISPENSOR DOESN’T CLOSE ITWILL BUILD UP WITH FROST AGAIN. ON NOVEMBER 26, 2015, THE CUSTOMER CALLED AS STATED FOR SAMEPROBLEM & AGAIN WE SENT A TECHNICIAN OUT RIGHT AWAY. THE TECHNICIAN AT THAT TIME FOUND THE SAME SITUATION WITH THE

ICE SHOOT FROZE DUE TO THE FLAP GETTING STUCK OPEN AFTER USAGE& THE TECHNICIAN AT THAT TIME EXPLAINED TO THE CUSTOMER

THATIT IS A DESIGN THAT WE CAN’T CHANGE AND HE PUT WHITE TAPE ONTHE ICE SHOOT AND EXPLAINED TO THE CUSTOMER THAT IT MIGHTHELP BUT IT IS NOT A FIX AS THE PROBLEM IS WITH THE DESIGN

OF THE ICEMAKER & DISPENSOR COMPONENTS AND THE ONLY WAY TOPREVENT THIS FROM HAPPENING IS TO MAKE SURE THE DOOR CHUTEIS CLOSED AFTER GETTING CRUSHED ICE & TO ALSO WIPE THE

DISPENSOR OF WATER THAT BUILDS UP WHEN THE WATER FREEZES ON THESURFACE IT CAUSES ICE TO JAM. THE SHAVINGS FROM THE CRUSHEDICE HOLD THE CHUTE OPEN & THEN IT FREEZES UP. THE

CUSTOMERSTATED HE ASKED WHY HE WAS NOT TOLD THIS PRIOR TO MAKING HIS

PURCHASE AND THE TECHNICIAN DID NOT SAY IT WAS NOT ALL BRANDSRESPONSIBILITY, ALL BRANDS EXPLAINED THAT WE DON’T KNOW THATTHIS MODEL WAS DESIGNED IN SUCH A WAY & WE WOULD HAVE NO WAY TO KNOW THAT THE UNIT WOULD HAVE TO BE CLEANED AFTEREACH USE. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE UNIT & THERE

ISNOTHING BROKE ON THE UNIT. THE UNIT JUST HAS A DESIGN THATYOU HAVE TO MAKE SURE THE CHUTE CLOSES AFTER EACH USE. THE

CUSTOMER WAS NOT CHARGED FOR THIS SERVICE EVEN THOUGH IT WAS NO LONGER UNDER

WARRANTY IT WAS CONSIDERED BY ALL BRANDS TO KEEP A HAPPY CUSTOMER.ON DECEMBER 19, 2014, THE CUSTOMER DID CALL PERSISTANT THATALL BRANDS COME LOOK AT THE REFRIGERATOR THAT HE FELT THAT IT WAS NOT WORKING. ALL BRANDS SET UP THE CALL FOR A

TECHNICIANTO COME. WHEN THE TECHNICIAN SAW THAT WE WERE GOING AGAINFOR A SERVICE CALL HE CALLED THE CUSTOMER BEFORE GOING TOSEE WHAT THE ISSUE WAS BECAUSE NOT ONLY WAS IT OFF OF WARRANTY BUT HE WANTED TO KNOW MORE CAUSE IF IT WAS RELATED

TO THE ICE MAKER HE HAD ALREADY EXPLAINED THAT TO THE CUSTOMER THE TWO TIMES

PRIOR AS TO WHAT HE NEEDED TO DO WITHTHE REFRIGERATOR. THE CUSTOMER STATED ON THE PHONE THAT,

YES,IT WAS THE SAME ISSUE BUT FELT HE SHOULD NOT HAVE TO DEAL

WITHIT AND WAS NOT GOING

TO PAY FOR ALL BRANDS TO COME SO THE TECHNICIAN STATED HE WAS NOT GOING TO COME

BACK AS THERE IS NOTHING HE CAN DO & THAT HE NEEDED TO DO WHAT WAS TOLD AND RECOMMENDED FOR HIM TO DO AND WIPE THE

CHUNKS AWAY ASHE PREVIOUSLY SHOWED HIM AND THE CUSTOMER DID NOT WANT TO DO

THAT SO THE TECHNICIAN EXPLAINED THAT WE CAN COME AND DO THATBUT HE WILL HAVE TO

PAY FOR THAT SERVICE. HE EXPLAINED TO THE CUSTOMER THAT AFTER EACH USE HE WAS

SUPPOSED TO MAKE SURE THE CHUTE WAS CLOSED AND THAT ALL BRANDS CAN NOT KEEP

COMING BACK TO CLEAN HIS REFRIGERATOR. THE CUSTOMER BECAME ANGEREDAND HUNG UP.THE CUSTOMER 15 MINUTES LATER STORMED INTO ALL BRANDS

ANGERED AND SAYING THAT ALL BRANDS IS NOT STANDING BEHIND THE PRODUCTS THEY SELL AND THAT HE WOULD LIKE HIS MONEY

BACK. ALL BRANDS TRIED TO EXPLAIN TO THE CUSTOMER HE HAS NICE, WORKING

REFRIGERATOR WITH NOTHING WRONG WITH IT AND WE DO AND DID STAND BEHIND IT THAT

HE DOES NOT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH IT AND HE AGREES WITH THAT BUT DOESN’T WANT TO

DEAL WITH IT. WE EXPLAINED WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS AND WILL NOT BE RETURNING

LEAVEAND IF HE DIDN’T WERE CALLING 911. HE WAS AGAIN NOT GOING TO

LEAVE SO ALL BRANDS DIALED 911 AND BEFORE THE DISPATCH CAME ON THE PHONE HIS

FIANCE SAID THEY NEED TO GO NOW AND THEY LEFT. ALL BRANDS HAD ANOTHER CUSTOMER

IN THE STORE AT THE COUNTER WITNESSING THE WHOLE INCIDENT AND AFTER THE

CUSTOMER LEFT GAVE ALL BRANDS HIS INFORMATION IN CASE THE CUSTOMER WAS TO RETURN AS HE SAID HE FEARED THE

CUSTOMER AS WELL. ALL BRANDS DOES NOT KNOW OF THE CUSTOMER BEING A VETERAN OR

ANYTHING OF ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION REGARDING THE CUSTOMER SO ALL BRANDS IS

UNAWARE OF THAT.ALL BRANDS WILL NOT BE RETURNING THE CUSTOMERS MONEY NOR

REFUNDING ANY MONEY. THE CUSTOMER HAS A WORKING REFRIGERATOR THAT HE IS FULLY

Review: I called for service on an appliance and spoke to a gentleman on the phone. He gave me a probable cause and an estimate of about $200. We set up an appt for between 8-10 AM the next day. At 10:05 the next morning, no one had shown up or called. I called the company and spoke with [redacted]. She said he was on his way. He arrived at 10:40. He came up to the side door and just opened the door without even knocking or waiting for me to open the door for him. He went to the basement, turned the power on and told me the same thing he told me on the phone the previous day. The "probable cause". He never opened the machine or took anything apart. He pulled out a book, and told me the price was 370 something. Almost double what he quoted the day before. Now, had he checked his book the previous day, we would have not scheduled service. After speaking with my husband, we decided to replace the washer. The technician refused to leave my house until I paid 83.95 for a service call. I could see paying this if he had actually performed some kind of service, or kept his quote at 200.00. The only way to keep it under 200 was to go with used parts with no guarantee of how long they would last. Not only did he refuse to leave my house, but he lied right to my face, and told me I was making things up when I caught him in the lie. He even wrote on the repair slip that he checked the diverter valve. how could he do that if he never even opened the machine? This tech, is a liar, a thief, and rude. When I called the company back to complain, [redacted] told me I did speak with that tech the previous day. This man should have quoted me the price in his little book in the first place, or he should have mentioned used parts as the $200 repair. It really seems kind of bait and switch to me,only with pricing. Give the quote for the used part, but don't tell the customer, so then jack the price when you get to the customers house. This guy lied, and charged me for service that was NOT rendered (driving to my house and lying to me, and trying to cheat me is not service). I am sure we can check with the manufacturer of the machine, to find out how long it takes to determine faulty valves. You see, the technician left my house at 10:44. How do you open up a machine, remove and check a valve to determine if it is bad in 4 minutes time?Desired Settlement: I understand that Revdex.com can not have an employee fired, but my desired outcome would be for this company to fire this technician along with providing a refund of the check I was forced to write in order to remove the man from my house. I would not like to see any other person treated in this fashion. This man has absolutely NO idea what customer service is. A written apology would also be accepted.

All Brands received a phone call from a customer stating that she has a washer that needs repair and was wondering if it was worth repairing or having someone come out to look at it first to see if it is worth repairing before she would go out and purchase a new unit in the case that maybe it would be something minor and she would fix it rather than going and purchasing a new one right away. We then asked her what it was doing so we could possibly guide her in her decision over the phone but we do not know for sure without looking at it. We also asked her what brand it was & she said what it was & that it wasn't spinning. We went onto explain that it could be a handful of things with that trouble but typically it has been known to be roughly a $200.00 or more repair but we wouldn't know what it would cost unless someone or us looked at it. We said she will have at least that into it or more for any repair as the cost of the parts, labor, & service. We told her the charges for the service call/estimate fee & she decided to schedule a call to have us see if it would be worth fixing. At that time upon taking the customers information we had her in our system as we had previously serviced her before so she was fully aware of our service company and the rates we charge etc. and there was nothing out of the ordinary. The technician found the problem and proceeded to explain what was wrong with the machine & the cost of the repair and the customer starting yelling about the cost of the repair. The technician then said she obviously doesn't want to repair it and he needs to collect for the service call as we collect at the time of service. She was informed of this procedure prior to us scheduling and has had our service before and was totally satisified then that it was shocking for such a reaction from her. She also called the office literally screaming into the phone calling the technician a liar and a thief and rude. The office tried to calm her down & we explained that we don't know over the phone what it would be & that we are sorry it ended up to be an expensive repair but it is out of our hands. She paid for the service call/est. fee which is the normal charge of what everyone gets charged for us to come out & give an estimate and that she was fully aware of if no repair is made.
