Steve and Rob are awesome. Thanks to everyone for fixing my 05 GMC encoder motorproblem. This business treats you like you expect all businesses to treat you but few do. I highly recommend them. Thanks again!
I took my Wife's vehicle to All American to have it diagnosed. I brought it in for a shake and going into Limp Mode while going up hills. When I got to the shop I was told my Wife's truck needed Motor Mounts, a Left Front Axle Seal and a Driver Side Window Switch. The Transfer Case needed to be resealed, which included removing it from the vehicle and separating it. Her rear end also needed to be serviced. That included removing the cover and cleaning all of the internal components. I was also told the Driveshaft needed new U-joints and Carrier Bearing. I approved them to the Transfer Case for $541.43. The Rear End for $253.96. U-Joints and Carrier Bearing for $1,323.66. I told them I was going to take care of the Window Switch, Left Front Axle Seal, and the Motor Mounts. They said they thought the Limp Mode was either caused by Bad Injectors or a Bad CP3 Pump. (Injection Pump) When we received a call back from them, Anthony said the Injectors came back good and the CP3 Pump was bad. They replaced the CP3 Pump for $2,366.22. They called and said the Truck was good to go. Went to work the next day and it went into Limp Mode again. I brought it back to them the next day. I received a call saying my Injectors were bad. I told them I thought they sent them out to be tested. On our bill from them, On the 4th of May: Injector test $400.00 and Seal Kit $321.76. They said they never actually sent them out to be tested, Steve the manager also verified that they did not test them. They quoted me an additional $6,000.00 to do the injectors. If they would have sent the injectors out to be tested like they said they were going to,and charged me for, the problem would have been fixed already. I did not need a CP3 Pump I needed New Injectors. I was charged for a part that did not fix the problem. I took the vehicle to another shop to have it diagnosed again. I was told 6 out of 8 of my injectors were bad and my rear end needed to be serviced and my transfer case was leaking.
This customer is submitting multiple complaints for the identical problem with different amounts requested and is abusing the process. We made an offer of a refund of the full amount originally requested in the original complaint#*** which was submitted under the name *** who is different than customer, ***, although we realize the are a couple. *** in complaint # *** asked for $1517.15 and we offered a full refund. Now *** is asking $1917.15 for the same complaint, abusing the Revdex.com process after we offered a refund of the initial requested amount!!We stand behind our work and our original response. In order to come quickly to resolution we are willing to credit the original requested amount of $1517.15 AND we expect to be paid in full immediately the $1085.98 that the customer owes us. We'd like for all parties to be able to settle fairly. We are sorry that the customer is not satisfied and we would like to make this right for both of us. I would like to be contacted by a Revdex.com representative about a remedy to the mis-use of the Revdex.com process in this case, thank you for your help.
Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: All American had an issue with my Wife *** submitting a complaint on my behalf, because she was not the actual customer. I opened up a complaint under my name since they had an issue with that. I do want to make it clear the vehicle is hers, so she has the right to complain about the work not being done to it. I do not believe that this is misuse of the Revdex.com like they are saying. They had a problem with her communicating with them so I resolved that issue and they are now dealing with me like they requested. They are also saying the amounts my Wife and I have disputed are confusing. I will explain them below.
The $1,517.15 being disputed was WITHOUT the charge for the rental we had for two days that they said they were covering. The $1,917.15 is WITH the charge for the rental. As far as I am concerned, All American did not do the work to my Wife's vehicle correctly. They had several attempts to fix the issues and did not. The truck is still leaking from the same places. I do not feel like I should have to pay for the work twice. Once to them and another time for another shop to do it correctly. $1,917.15 needs to be credited. That would leave the bill at $685.98. I will be more than happy to pay the remainder once the other issues are solved.
Sincerely
I took my truck to the repair shop they said they did $6000 worth the work After inspection of their work by *** dealership they did not replace some of the parts on the order burnt my starter up charged me for a new starterThe vehicle was doing the same thing when I left there repair shop *** could find no evidence of there work but a replaced line When I asked for my old parts back they said they didn’t have them anymore One of the parts they said they replaced I had actually worked on myself the lift fuel pump I replaced the water bleederIt was clearly not replaced I was also charged for that After I pay them $1000 for work they didn’t even do I plan to take them to court and sue them
To Whom It May Concern: We reached out immediately to the customer and the customer has agreed to meet and get to the bottom of this together. We have an appointment next week and we will solve the problem. There is clearly a misunderstanding or mistake. We have been in business for over 35 years and the type of problem described is unacceptable. We will take care of this situation properly.
We did work on Jeff *** vehicle on 12/22/2016. His bill was $5,968.12. He put $1000 down and entered into a payment agreement with us for the balance. Despite repeated attempts to get in contact with him regarding making a payment, Mr. never made a single payment on his balance owed. The truck has driven great since the day it was repaired by our shop in December 2016. He never called us concerning any problem with the truck. All of a sudden Mr. claims that the low pressure pump was not replaced by us in December 2016, and we dispute that. We did replace the low pressure pump. We've got no information from the *** dealership. No substantial or concrete evidence has been provided by Mr.. It's heresy. We stand by our work and we are going to pursue collections for the money owed to us. We feel it is ridiculous that Mr. would not call us to discuss his concerns.
