Review: I ordered 2 pieces of baby furniture from this company in February. I was told it would be delivered w/in 6-8 weeks. After 8 weeks, we called weekly for an update and were given every excuse in the book as to why the bed and chest were not ready. I was told in April that the chest was available for shipment but not the bed and that the chest could be in by April 12. Told them I'd like the chest delivered even if it was not at the same time as the bed. That date came and went. Fast forward to May and 10 excuses later and we received the bed. Then in early June, the chest was delivered to the storage unit and the comp rep said it had been damaged and asked if we'd like to have it repaired. An $800 chest? I don't think so. So, she promised to have another delivered via freight and that it would take no longer than 2 weeks. I am tired of excuses and I want the merchandise I paid for. My baby is due in 2 weeks and I have been more than patient. My thought is that my furniture was ordered and delivered within the promised time frame of 6-8 weeks but that when it came in, it was likely sold to someone else. I will never do business with this company again.Desired Settlement: I would like my money refunded.

Review: A glider for my new born baby girl was paid for in December 2014 at All about Baby in Covington, LA. Allegedly, the glider was ordered from a manufacturer in California and a reasonable delivery date was agreed upon. However, several phone calls were made resulting only in deception on behalf of Crystal at All About Baby in Covington, LA. Promise date after promise date, delivery and window after delivery window, the chair failed to arrive despite the many promises that it would be there tomorrow, and/or between 3 and 5 PM. Then the chair arrived in Covington but, it was damaged and had to be returned to California. The chair arrived but, the fabric was wrong. Next, the All About Baby in California sent the chair to another person with the same name as me. Further research revealed that there is NO All about Baby in California. Furthermore, I contacted the Factory in California who not only verified that there is no such store in California but, that the order was not placed by Crystal until July 14, 2015. Little Castle Furniture is the factory from where the chair was to be delivered from. I want it to be clear that Little Castle has been a great help in resolving this issue and has been cooperative in helping me find out the TRUTH about this disrespectful and unprofessional vendor whom they have dealt with. Lastly, I want this complaint to have zero negative impact on Little Castle but maximum impact and publicity on All About Baby in Covington, LA and the untruthful manner in which Crystal believes business is to be conducted.Desired Settlement: Crystal has stated that the price of chair will be 100% refunded. However, I find her to be less than truthful and I need to guarantee that I am properly refunded and that this type of business is NOT tolerated. Please help to ensure that this does NOT happen to other consumers.

Review: Although we placed our order on 5 SEP 2015 for 1 dresser, 1 nightstand, 1 crib, and 1 set of bed conversion rails, we have still not received the items we ordered. During the second week in DEC, [redacted] (the owner) notified us that All About Baby had received our entire shipment. When we came to pick the shipment up on Monday, 28 DEC 2015, [redacted] said she could not meet us because of a medical emergency. After that, [redacted] promised to have the shipment delivered to our house on Friday, 8 JAN 2016 by her father in law. When we could not work out a delivery time, she then promised to have a freight company deliver the furniture by Thursday, 7 JAN 2016. [redacted] subsequently lost track of our entire shipment. After we protested the delays in receiving our items, [redacted] told my wife that she would deliver someone else’s furniture to us (because the woman was due in MAR and we were due in JAN). On 11 JAN 2016, [redacted] communicated that the furniture was still in transit, but should arrive no later than Tuesday, 12 JAN 2016, when you would deliver it to us. There was no word from her concerning the furniture on 12 JAN 2016. On 13 JAN 2016, my mother-in-law called to request to arrange the pick up all of our furniture so she could surprise us when we came home from the hospital. My sister-in-law (SIL) came to All About Baby’s storage unit with her trailer, as [redacted] requested, so she could get all the items at once, including the dresser. Unfortunately, [redacted] still did not have all of our items. My SIL received the crib, conversion rails, and nightstand but [redacted] did not have the dresser. [redacted] told my SIL that the dresser would be back in her possession on Monday, 18 JAN 2016. I called on Saturday, 16 JAN 2016 and discussed the way ahead for receiving the dresser. [redacted] told me she was attempting to get the dresser from New Orleans and that her back-up was a new shipment that would be shipped on Tuesday, 19 JAN 2016. She promised that I would receive my delinquent dresser no later than Saturday, 23 JAN 2016. I asked her to confirm that I would receive the dresser no later than Saturday, 23 JAN 2016 and she confirmed it, saying that her father-in-law was the “reliable delivery man” she was going to depend on. I called again on Tuesday, 19 JAN 2016 to confirm the shipment, but [redacted] was unable to confirm the shipment since she said she had not received the documents. I gave her my email address through a text message, as requested, in order for her to provide me with the shipping documents. I never received any documents. She also stated that delivery would now be no later than Monday, 25 JAN 2016. I called on Wednesday, 20 JAN 2016 because I had not received an email with the shipping documents. Also on Wednesday, 20 JAN 2016, my wife called [redacted] to discuss a course of action for the dresser. As discussed and agreed upon during the phone conversation on Wednesday, 20 JAN 2016, if the dresser that we ordered is not delivered to us by Monday, 25 JAN 2016 all of the items that we ordered will be returned for a full refund. On multiple occasions we requested that all order documents, copies of invoices, receipts, and shipping documents be provided. On Sunday, 24 JAN 2016 I finally received a single purchase order (dated 17 October 2015). On Monday, 25 JAN 2016 my wife called [redacted] at 11:56AM to confirm the delivery. [redacted] confirmed that it would be delivered that night at around 6:30PM. I called [redacted]’s cell phone multiple times, left her a voicemail, and texted her. No delivery was made.Desired Settlement: As the owner had agreed upon, I would like a full refund and for All About Baby to pick up the few furniture items that I did receive.
