Review: In October of 2013, a worker from this business started installing a new bathtub and tiling in our 2nd floor master bathroom and our basement; we were told it would take 2 weeks. The initial tiling, the pipework, and the tub installation in the master was done incorrectly, and water came through our 1st floor ceiling and even down to the basement. A different worker returned to fix the damage; the tile and water damage were fixed, but the grout of the tub cracked for a second time and water continued to leak from the tub through the 1st floor ceiling. A third person was sent to repair things, but ultimately did not fix/understand what was causing the leak. Someone returned, cut a hole in our 1st floor ceiling to try and identify the leak. However, he did not fix the problem, and water continued to leak. The last person who was sent to assess the problem established that the tub was installed unevenly, and the cracking grout is what is causing the leaking. In addition to being initially installed incorrectly, we are also covered in the our contract by a one-year warranty. Throughout this entire process, each time we have written or called to say the problem is not fixed, there has been a one week to two month wait between our notification and any action. The business agreed to let us find a new contractor to fix all the damages and root issues. We found contractor, received a quote, and forwarded along on 8/14/2014, but were told by the business, "I'm out of the country and haven't had time to look at it."It has now been 11 months since work commenced. We have only been able to use our bathroom for a few weeks in this entire period. Additionally, we have four-month old, and this is the only bathtub in our house. We've also had an open hole in our living room ceiling for almost three months and the home was built in the 1920s raising concerns of ours regarding lead dust... We have nowhere to adequately bathe him. These issues add undue stress during an already stressful period...Desired Settlement: We would like timely resolution of these construction problems: adequately fixed repairs (tiling, grout, plumbing, ceiling, etc). This can come from this business or from another business whom this business pays.
