Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:This is absolutely untrue, we notified Alder creek in October actually *** *** did about the leak we has that caused us to take cold showers after min of a Luke warm shower and we could not even think about giving the kids a bath the hot waterwould run out too fast, they never even came to check it out they just said that the part was being ordered so until our hot water heater broke on thanksgiving they never even came to look at our problem that we reported on october, the girlfriend is actually my wife and she had talked with the manager at Alder creek explaining the situation and that she will apply to be on the lease but right now we could not afford to give an app fee the manager said that was fine but if we were to discuss any other issues that we would need written consent from *** stating that I am allowed to handle anything with the apartment while $*** is at work, the other person that answers the door is our baby sitter and yes the first apartment that we were sent to was clean however the second one was not it liked to be abandoned and had a foul odar to itAlso we talked to maintenance about our front door how whenever it rains water leaks into our front door I myself slipped into my back already and my son fell in his face leaving a scabbed up noseThis is very hazardous, and to top it off in the master bedroom coming out out the ceiling is a wire about inches longThere is absolutely no reason for this kind of treatment anywhere

Alder Creek Management stands by its original response to this matter Since the time of the initial and subsequent complaint, Alder Creek has filed eviction against the complainant(s) for reasons unrelated, however similar allegations were stated by the complaining party in a written response to our Attorney The written response from the tenant was reviewed by the Judge during the hearing, and the eviction was approved, and Immediate Write of Restitution was granted

Alder Creek constantly strives to provide the best service to our residents.  All work orders which include an essential services request are given top priority.
The complaint as reported regarding no running hot water for over a month is false.  The initial complaint was reported by a non-lease holding individual, who claimed to be the girlfriend of one of our lease-holding residents.  The concern was reported to our office November 25, 2015. Typically we would only deal with lease-holding residents regarding any work order request however, it appeared the individual who reported the issue, was also residing as an unauthorized occupant of the apartment home.
In the time since this matter was brought to the attention of Alder Creek Management, our only personal contact has been with the individual who states she is the girlfriend of our tenant, and another male individual who always answers the door, who is also a non-lease holding individual.  We have made contact with the mother of listed complainant by phone; who is lease-holding; however, to our knowledge, she is not currently residing at the household.
Our maintenance staff was dispatched to the apartment home the same day it was reported to the management office, November 25, 2015.  When our staff arrived, they found the apartment to be cluttered, and extremely filthy.  Maintenance advised the girlfriend of our tenant, she needed to clear the area so they could access the hot water heater and bath tub.  The girlfriend of our tenant was given a key to a vacant unit, which had not been professionally cleaned; however, it was not in dirty condition, so they could use bathing facilities. 
November 30, 2015, our maintenance staff went to the apartment home, again, the only adult present, was the girlfriend of our tenant.  She advised maintenance that they had shut off the supply line to the hot water heater, because they tub faucet was leaking.  Essentially, shutting the supply of water off to the water heater, without shutting off the electricity, is what caused the element breaker inside the water heater to malfunction. Maintenance was again not able to make entry due to stacks of boxes and clutter. Maintenance was advised, the boxes belonged to the mother of the complainant, who is lease-holding, and the items were from her storage shed. Maintenance could not make repairs on this date, and again advised the girlfriend of our tenant, the area needed to be cleared for access.
Management was not contacted by either the girlfriend or lease-holding resident on any subsequent occasions. 
On December 7, 2015, the apartment manager and the maintenance supervisor were driving the community, due to flooding of areas.  When maintenance and management entered the area adjacent to the complainant’s apartment home, we saw the girlfriend in the parking lot, and when we approached her, we were advised by her the apartment was now clean. 
The maintenance supervisor and assistant were able to make entry to make the repair to the hot water heater and tub faucet on December 8, 2015. 
Again, it is important to note, there was never any personal contact, nor request by phone by either of our lease-holding residents.
