Albrecht Buick GMC of Wakefield Reviews (%countItem)

I purchased this used vehicle from Albrecht Auto in November 2019. I had some concerns with the vehicle but was ok with my purchase. I noticed later that there were items on my contract that I did not agree to or sign for which almost totaled $3,000 (Gap coverage, and a Tire Contract) there was also a $249.00 charge for a Nitrogen fill for my tires which I later learned that my tires were not nitrogen filled. The finance person told me that my tires take nitrogen, and that is what I would need to use to fill my tires. I began emailing the finance person on Feb 2020 and later the general manager, several emails and calls were made to try to get answers and a call back, with no response. After Covid, and the location was not open for business, I was told by the *** location that the General manager, was one of many who were still working, and she also took my information and forwarded my email to the general manager and cc’d me. He still did not return my calls. I called *** another time. The young lady told me that she would have a manager from her location to get in touch with me, who was also working, but he did not respond either. After several calls, messages and emails, I to date (May 26th) I have basically been ignored. I called the lender and explained the situation. They told me to try calling to cancel directly to the coverage agencies since the dealer would not respond. I called coverage agencies and they told me to send them an email, requesting to cancel from the date of sale, since I never requested it, which they would send to the dealer to try to deal with it that way to have the dealer cancel as I requested. I will wait to see what happens from here. I am sure that there have been positive experiences that have come out of dealing with this company, but for me, for whatever reason it has been a huge mistake. I made this purchase alone, as a female, and can not help but to feel betrayed for haven given them my business in the first place, and highly regretful.
What I would like to see happen, is for these two coverages that I have been requesting to be removed and to my knowledge, did not authorize, ($1,095.00 and $1495.00) to be removed from my loan bill, and for the cost of the nitrogen tire fill $249.00 to be refunded to me as two auto mechanics indicated to me that my tires are not that kind – noting no green caps) but take regular air, which my tires have been using.

Customer Response • May 29, 2020

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***.
The Revdex.com offers a space for 3 dates to
indicate the times that I tried to contact someone, but I have tried at least
“20” times to try to reach someone since February 28 including several calls
and “several” emails to *** and to *** with no response. I
left a message with ***, the salesman, with no response. I even sent a 30
day demand letter on March 28th (to *** and ***) but I was still
ignored. Beginning in late April, I began calling the *** location. I spoke
to *** who told me that *** was in fact working, and she would make sure he
received my email requesting a call back and explanation. She emailed him and
cc’d me, as I requested, but still no response. *** said someone from her
office would be in touch with me (***) which she cc’d me on this email as
well, but *** never called me either. And I emailed him as well, but still
no response. So no, I do “not” want to speak to anyone at Albrecht, who I
tried to contact and ignored me for several months. My experience with Albrecht has created “no”
trust after giving them my business. Tire and Gap Contracts: I did not request these services and
*** gave me copies of all of my paperwork (which I have) and these
were “not” signed. When I got copies of my paperwork from the lender, (at my
request) these “were” signed, but I didn’t sign for them. Please cancel both back
to the sale date $1,095.00 and $1,495.00.I should not have been charged for the Inspection fee of $35.00 on this Contract. When I picked
up the car as scheduled at 5:00pm, the vehicle had not been inspected as they
said it would be. I was told to just get it done tomorrow and they would refund
me, which I did, and they sent me a check for 35.00. The $35.00 should not be on the contract. Since I have “no” trust for this agency, because I don’t
know what kind of people would treat me this way, I would not feel comfortable
to go to either location for any reason, and *** was far enough away for me to travel. If verification of the tires is
necessary, I would like to take it to a reputable, unbiased location in my
area, such as Good Year but I have already been told by two mechanics that they
are not nitrogen tires. If you need verification I will get it, and if once
again confirmed, I will provide verification, and would like this charge
removed. $249.00. Doc Fees: I will
check with the Consumer Affairs to see if it is lawful. The Doc fee of $499.00 seems excessive. Below is a
small portion of what I read online today.***“As consumers gear up for Presidents’ Day sales, they
need to know that in most instances dealerships are hitting them with
unnecessary fees claiming they are for paperwork and documents.”, said ***
***, Undersecretary of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation. “We
found that many car dealerships are charging consumers exorbitant fees for
costs that are negligible and in some cases telling car buyers these are
required charges by state or federal law, which just isn‘t true.”• Fees ranged from $45 to $399 Please communicate through Revdex.com and let me know that 4 charges will be removed, and if you need verification from ***, or other tire company for 5th refund. If it is not necessary for me to speak with anyone from Albrecht to get this resolved then I do not want to. If it is "necessary" to speak to someone, for whatever reason, please let me know why, and how.
Regards

I purchased a vehicle from Albrecht Autoland Wakefield on Feb 18, 2020, at the time of purchase after my test drive I noticed the windshield wipers were not working properly and needed to be fixed or motor replaced and I was told it would take a week. As I called to check with my salesperson he stated it also was in need of a bushing changed in the front end. I was later told when I called to inquire if my vehicle was ready that it had been sent out to have the work completed by a *** dealer. I have since been given the run around and excuses why my vehicle was not done, told it would be and at this date and time March 12, 2020 have still not received my vehicle, which is registered in my name, I have made insurance payments on and I have a loan for. This is completely unacceptable, very poor business practice and absolutely unfair. I have had to get rides back and forth to work for 3 weeks as well as borrow cars to get errands done. I am requesting the Revdex.com get involved in this and rectify this issue asap. I was offered a refund by the salesman on March 11, 2020 which my reply was not interested I want my vehicle that I purchased!!
