Should the vehicle be washed prior to shipment?
Yes! It is highly recommended that vehicles are washed prior to Vehicle Transportation to conduct a proper vehicle condition survey before car shipping.
Is there any additional cost for door to door transport?
Yes! Charges are subject to the vehicle type, vehicle condition and locations of pick up and/or delivery.
Are Transit Times Guaranteed?
Alberta Auto Transport does not guarantee the pick up and or delivery dates under any circumstances. They are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances (equipment breakdown, weather conditions, delays in shipment...).
What items can I put in the vehicle?
It is recommended that all personal/household items are removed from the vehicle(s) prior to vehicle transport. This is because they are not insured and create issues for the driver. However, if items are found in vehicle(s) consequences will apply in accordance to Terms & Conditions Of Shipping.
The only items that can be put inside the vehicles are; Children Seat, Jumper Cable, ice scraper/snow brush for vehicle, spare tire and factory tools to assemble the tire. Strictly only the items that belong to the vehicle.
When is the vehicle(s) insured?
Vehicle(s) is/are only insured while on the auto transport, or in an Auto Carrier. It is the Customer’s responsibility to insure vehicle(s) while on the ground waiting to be shipped, and once it/they arrive(s) and is/are unloaded. Vehicles that are damaged by the Act Of God (natural disaster/weather conditions) are not covered.
