The owner of Alba Interior & Exterior Iron Works, Inc., Mr. *** completed two residential aluminum door installations; one for my parent's house and another for a neighbor. From them, I got positive references and hired him to replace the front gate of a residence located in the area between NW *** Ave and *** St. (5mins away from Dolphin Mall). Mr. quoted $3,300 which includes the manufacturing of the gate and installation. I accepted and was ready to give him a 50% deposit check for $1650. But Mr. asked if I can give him $2000 as a help. I was hesitant at first but then I thought of the references from both happy customers (my parents and the neighbor) and accepted to give him a check for $2000 as a deposit. The transaction happened on September 14, 2018. Up until the beginning of 2019, he still answered my phone calls with thousands of excuses for the delay. Thereafter, nowhere to be found. I did my research online and found two additional addresses: PO Box XXXXXX Hialeah, FL XXXXX and *** NW *** St Miami, FL XXXXX.
