Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Sincerely, [redacted] When I paid MrR [redacted] the retainer He assured me that his investigator would do a great jobHe clearly admits by stating that Brian performed "Adequately" until my case"Adequately" is not the same as doing a "Great Job" Everything I have stated is factual and accurate and can be viewed on the complaint I filed with the State of Alaska, Attorney Generals office for consumer affairs who stated in their reply to me that they found my complaint to be factual after reviewing all the documents submitted Furthermore, while the footage "seems" lengthy in hours submitted by Brian, it was useless as he spent hours surveilling nothing but parked vehiclesOne of the few photos submitted with his written documentation was of the wrong vehicle, even after I had given photo's and license plate numbers plus make and models of the vehicles involvedI also never received any video footage which I was told I would receiveOn one of those days during surveillance Brian told me he was asked to leave the site by the Wasilla police departmentHe state that he just needed to get a permit and then he could resumeI later confirmed with the Wasilla police department that there was no recorded incident of an investigator being asked to leave on that day and that no permit was ever filedThis is all "FACT" I would like to re-state that my only intention for filing this was to resolve it amicably between us but it has been nothing but an ongoing and stressful nightmare of a situationI would strongly advise anyone reading this or considering using Alaska Investigations Group to view the complaint I filed with the Attorney Generals, Consumer Relations Department

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Sincerely, [redacted] I did not agree to, nor did I sign an agreement to subpoena anyoneOn 12/29/MrR [redacted] stated in an e-mail "I will try my best to obtain whatever Brian obtained,I've asked Brian to send me documents on three occasions but have not received any"My intent was to work this situation out amicably between us prior to initiating a formal lawsuit but MrR [redacted] refuses to acknowledge any liability as a business owner for the actions of his investigatorAdditionally MrR [redacted] was aware that during the time of the incident a subpoena was not feasible for me since I had already exhausted all financial resources on a costly divorce

Clarification: Ms*** willingly signed our agreement with us and also willingly processed her payment with our credit card merchantNobody forced her into this aragementNobody forced her to make a payment to usThe agreement existsShe had the opportunity provided to have everything reviewed by an attorney. The agreement Ms*** signed acknowledges several clauses that apply to this situationFor example, Ms*** signed and acknowledged that hiring a private investigator is a risk, retainer is non-refundable once operations begin, Ms*** signed and acknowledged our ethics and honesty statement, cancellation agreement, our client interference clause (which contains specific language that we are to be held harmless and to be indemnified), Ms*** signed our investigation disclaimer which contains specific language that we do not guarantee results (EMPHASIS ADDED), which applies to this situation
Next, I’d like to address the context of the complaintThe complaint itself grossly exaggerates and misrepresents the contact we had with Ms*** during the caseMs*** was frequently provided with near real time communication and was provided with reports over throughout the case (approximately hours were spent on this endeavor)She insists that she had suffered losses because she didn’t receive our case information timely enough and threatened to seek suitI think it's noteworthy to point out that Ms*** failed to disclose in her complaint that we had timely and specifically emailed her our investigators contact information BEFORE her court dates so that she had ample time to coordinste strategy with her attorney; such as a subpoena to appearI had also re-sent her the reports upon requestTo the best of my knowledge, we never received any phone calls, emails or subpoena to appears regarding her caseWith all due respect, I don’t feel Ms*** fully understood the contents of our agreement and/or how to coordinate with her counsel on arranging a subpoena to appearShe is approaching this as if resukts are guaranteedThey are not, never jave been and never will beHer allegations are slightly capriciousEffort was contributedCommunication took placeShe obtained information that she didn't have to begin withWe didnt jusy obtain an agreementWe put genune time in.
Ms*** received significant effort, verification of effort, etcI do strongly encourage Ms*** to re-read our agreement and the contents I provided so that she can be more abreast of this situationThe agreement took place, does exist and will help her navigate this situation

Ms. [redacted] signed an agreement with us. She was provided information for subpoenas prior to court dates, however, nothing was done.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:Sincerely,[redacted]
When I paid Mr. R[redacted] the retainer He assured me that his investigator would do a great job. He clearly admits by stating that Brian performed "Adequately" until my case. "Adequately" is not the same as doing a "Great Job".
Everything I have stated is factual and accurate and can be viewed on the complaint I filed with the State of Alaska, Attorney Generals office for consumer affairs who stated in their reply to me that they found my complaint to be factual after reviewing all the documents submitted.
Furthermore, while the footage "seems" lengthy in hours submitted by Brian, it was useless as he spent hours surveilling nothing but parked vehicles. One of the few photos submitted with his written documentation was of the wrong vehicle, even after I had given photo's and license plate numbers plus make and models of the vehicles involved. I also never received any video footage which I was told I would receive. On one of those days during surveillance Brian told me he was asked to leave the site by the Wasilla police department. He state that he just needed to get a permit and then he could resume. I later confirmed with the Wasilla police department that there was no recorded incident of an investigator being asked to leave on that day and that no permit was ever filed. This is all "FACT".  I would like to re-state that my only intention for filing this was to resolve it amicably between us but it has been nothing but an ongoing and stressful nightmare of a situation. I would strongly advise anyone reading this or considering using Alaska Investigations Group to view the complaint I filed with the Attorney Generals, Consumer Relations Department.

12/29/2014 Mr. R[redacted] stated in an e-mail "I will try my best to obtain whatever Brian obtained,I've asked Brian to send me documents on three occasions but have not received any". My intent was to work this situation out amicably between us prior to initiating a formal lawsuit but Mr. R[redacted] refuses to acknowledge any liability as a business owner for the actions of his investigator. Additionally Mr. R[redacted] was aware that during the time of the incident a subpoena was not feasible for me since I had already exhausted all financial resources on a costly divorce.
