First and foremost let us apologize for the missing boxOur office is definitely concerned when items go missingWe have pulled your record and it appears that several of the warehouse managers have perform a searchIt also appears that the vehicles were inspected that day when they returned to
the office and nothing was notated as being left on the truckIt is a requirement that a post trip inspection be completed at the end of each day on the vehicles under FMCSA regulations and while our staff and drivers are checking for any mechanical defects they are also making sure the truck is returned in the same manner that it left in the morningWe make sure pads are stacked, tools are strapped to the walls and no items from the customers relocation was left in the vehicleIf items are left on the vehicle the customer is then immediately contactedHowever our claims department has been made aware of the missing box as well and a claim form for lost and missing items will be sent to your homeInstructions on filing a claim will be enclosed with the forms and information on the process.The forms will be mailed to:*** * *** *** *** *** ** *** However in the interest of goodwill and hopes of expediting this matter the claims department has been authorized to make a settlement of $This would bypass the requirement of providing a receipts and filling out the necessary formsPlease respond and this can be taken care of within the next 5-days

First and foremost let us apologize for any mishap that may have occurred during your recent relocationOur records indicate that our company performed a relocation for you on the 2/28/Our office was contacted on March 1st, and made aware a hunting jacket and boots were missingThis
particular customer had many loose items and these two missing items were not boxed in advanceThis was also the case with many clothes and other itemsImmediately our truck was searched and the missing items were locatedOur position was that the items were simply left behind and no accusations of theft were ever made or employees being firedThis may have occurred since the items were not boxedOur office has a firm policy that if a customer ever believes that theft was involved we require that a police report be immediately filedOur records do not indicate a police report was ever filed or theft has occurred. The rules that govern our industry allow days for a claim for loss or missing items to be filedOur belief that if this particular customer believes foul play was involved they would have quickly made sure all items were deliveredAt this point in the interest of goodwill if the customer would like to file a claim for the missing items we will allow them to be filed with our officePlease make sure to include any receipts with the claim form for any missing items.
