Did not get what was paid for plus went through a terrible time with a lot of hassle.
I went online on May 24,2019 and purchased 3 tickets, me,my child and my mother, we were meeting my son and his 3 kids there, it was in the middle of were we all lived, I purchased all 3 tickets with a $10 food credit on each.My order number for the tickets was #XXX-XXXXXX-XXX-XXXXXX.I also purchased a ***, as my mother is elderly. We had originally planned on going on the 8 of June but the weather was forecasted to be heavy storms. So I changed the *** for the 14 of June, which took several phone calls to get it changed, which it says on the page you purchase them on you can change the date to use just no refunds. But it took 3 days to finally get someone to help me with the change. Upon arriving on the 14th, my ticket and my child's ticket worked to get into the gate but my mother's did not. So we had to stand at the gate while the clerk was trying to figure out what to do. We stood there for about 15 minutes until a lady carrying my mom's ticket said she would have to take it into the office and check on it. Then she took all 3 of the tickets to "check" them although they scanned ok and we were already in the park. Around 10 minutes later she came back with a food card for the $10 and said everything was ok but the food money wasn't working on moms, so she gave her a card for it. From there we went to get our ***, when I got to the desk there was no record of me purchasing a cabana, I told them I had talked to *** and she had changed it for that day. Then they had to call *** on the radio and get it verified. Which took another good 10 minutes. Then the clerk said she would have to take us to a cabana because they had not reserved us one. So we had to wait until she finished checking out the other customers in the store and she could find someone to watch the register. There goes 15 more minutes. Upon walking out the door of the store a customer stopped her that was having problems opening a locker, the clerk then proceeded to help her leaving all 7 of us just standing there waiting. 5 more minutes. When it was time to eat the tickets for food did not work, I was told I would have to go back to the front gate to get them fixed. With 4 hungry kids waiting to eat I tried to go back but they would not allow it because I had my bathing suit on. So I just purchased food with my own money. And waited 45 minutes for a pizza. There is a whole another story.
With it being just short a few days of being a month I have been trying to correspond with *** in getting my $20 food credit returned. The calls are few and far between, she never answers and always needs to talk to someone else and never calls back. I spend almost half my time there with her employees trying to get things I purchased taken care of. Instead of enjoying time with my grand children and being frustrated, I was not very happy about our trip and the trouble I've had to go through to try and get back my $20. You would think I was asking for something I hadn't paid for.
All I wanted a month ago was my $20 I paid but after all the stress I've been put through since I believe I am owed more. Maybe free tickets for me and my child plus food credit, that actually works. And my originally $20 that I paid for.
I have read Ms. complaint, and it seems factually accurate and sincere. My apologies to Ms.. I was not aware of the poor visitation she had experienced. Generally we do very well on guest experience, but for Ms., we did not reach our standards of excellence. It was kind of "a perfect storm" of unfortunate events that led to a bad experience for Ms.. We are not perfect and to Ms. we apologize because we do strive to be the greatest family owned and operated park, with family and Christian values in the world. Please provide the mailing address for Ms. and I will send her 2 tickets to come back as a guest and $40.00 of park money on (4) gift cards ($10 each) that are usable in the park. Actually, I will send her 4 tickets! Please offer her advice on her next visit to avoid Saturdays (through 2nd Saturday in August) if at all possible, because Saturdays are always busy. Sundays to Fridays are all about equally good and we have far less visitors. Kind regards and thanks.
