We are requesting that an inspector go look at the job because all cracks are properly filled in the driveway.

 I do understand that there will always be a repaired finish to my driveway. There was not the right amount of filler used because the larger crack still have a major indentention to them leaving them suspectable to water retention and ice build up causing further damage

After visiting the above referenced site and speaking with the homeowner, I feel he is expecting crack filling and sealcoating to make the cracks on his driveway no longer visible. This can only be accomplished by repaving the driveway. Our estimate clearly states that large cracks do not disappear but will be filled and protected against further damage. All cracks were properly filled and driveway was sealcoated. I am confident if an outside engineer inspects this property will surely agree.

Review: In August of 2013, I contacted A & L Blacktop Sealcoating, Inc. to repair a gap on the apron of my driveway, recoat 2 driveways and fill in cracks. They recoated the driveways and sealed the cracks to a less than satisfactory job. They did not repair the patch initially as requested. After 3 calls to the company they returned however patched the wrong spot on the TOP of my driveway with gravel. Not only was it the wrong spot but it was so poorly done and now that part of the driveway is ruined. I contacted the company again to have them fix it and/or do it over and then repair what I had originally asked. I spoke with [redacted] who stated they would contact me to see the job and they never did. It is now 2 months later and nothing has been done to correct it. They also left me a bill stating the job was completed and it was not done correctly.Desired Settlement: They need the fix what they ruined and fill the spot I asked for originally at no cost due to many phone calls, empty promises and much aggrevation.

I was contacted by [redacted] of the paving company however was also informed they had "lost" my paperwork. [redacted] also stated that the type of repair I had requested is not something they do as it is the town's responsibility. However when I made the call initially was told by their secretary they would make the repair. [redacted] said they will make the repair this coming week and correct the damage that was done. I await their follow through and evaluate if the job is done satisfactorily this time before concluding if this matter is resolved. Thank you for intervening.
