A&K Lawn and Landscape

Company claims we owe for services that were not agreed upon. Copy of letter below. Now Company has sent a demand for payment and threatens to send to collection agency and sue. Also, [redacted] threatened me over the phone that he would dump all debri he removed back onto our property. I have tried to resolve this over the phone with [redacted])on 3 separate occasions. He has been hostile, threatening, and has hung up on me.Original Dispute letter:"Please find the enclosed payment for $150.00. As per our agreement as follows:In the Spring of 2011, we agreed that A&K would mow our lawn for $42.00 per week, with theunderstanding that A&K would also provide both Spring and Fall Cleanup. The price agreed upon for both services was quoted to us at $300.00. As per our phone conversation in December 2011, A&K stated that the price quoted was for each service, Spring and Fall Cleanup being two different services at the price of $300.00 each. Unfortunately, this seems to be a misunderstanding of the verbal contract betweenboth parties.Without a written agreement , it is difficult to know the full nature of the conversation. We intend to holdup our end of the agreement and pay for the Fall Cleanup as agreed at the rate of $150.00. We would also like to state that there are quite allot of leaves and debris left on our landscaping. We understand that it isdifficult to know when the last leaves will fall. However, there was no rain or snow for many weeks afterthe last leaves, yet no crew visited our home during that time period."
