$1000.00Disputed Amount: $1443.90 Desired Outcome/Settlement: I want my bike back, been over years Desired Settlement: Billing Adjustment Response From Business goes as follows.Good afternoon, First, I would like to address the dates in which *** *** has stated he's spoken to us in regards to his vehicle I see in your notes that he had supposedly spoken to us about this matter on Jan 1, 2013, but according to his attached work order his vehicle didn't enter our facility until May 6, 2013, so I can't see how we've discussed a vehicle repair on a vehicle that wasn't in our shop for a repair.Next, *** *** had an issue that in all diagnostic terms checked out as operable, no problem originally found, but his vehicle did not start and showed no signs of having the ability to start This was discussed with *** *** at length He conveyed to us that the bike had been looked at by numerous individuals and during each visit the issue could not be resolved The condition of the vehicle pretty much matched what we were told Upon drop-odd the vehicle had already previously been disassembled, parts were not connected and there were items loose on the vehicle that would and could cause issue if the vehicle in fact was in a running condition The carbs were loose and the intake boot clamp to the carb was missing, which would allow air to bypass in an actual running condition motorcycle Those items needed to be fixed/reassembled before moving forward with the attempt to diagnose the non-start issue.As stated before, all items concerning *** ***'s electrical system checked out fine, these items were checked multiple times in a effort to yield a different result The parts continuously check out as working as designed per the specs provided in the service manual for this specific motorcycle model** *** advised us that he indeed had a used motor, of which he was willing to remove parts from At this point, it was explained to *** *** that we would not replace any internal electrical part with a used part from an equally dated engine and would not extend a warranty to any customer supplied parts *** ***'s vehicle is over years old, so we would not take a part from another year old engine and install it in his vehicle with the hopes of it working for any significant period of time.*** *** at no time has ever come into our shop and said he wanted to pickup/retrieve his vehicle because of the time frame that had passed He did send a text that said he'd like to pick his vehicle up by December 2015, to which was agreed Please note his vehicle had been repaired and all requested work has been completed.After many many hours of diagnosis we felt that the issue *** *** was experiencing was due to a failure in the Stator generator ignition pick upThe retail pricing of the part from *** is $ *** *** was contacted and told the price of the repair, the price was authorized and in addition he was asked if he still wanted the other requested work to be performed He was asked that due to to the cost of the main issue he had brought the vehicle into the shop for He wanted a complete cost total of the repair, after giving him said total he authorized the additional repairs At that time he made no mention of not completing the additional repairs and made no statements of again wanting to replace the failed part with a used part He was given that price and ** *** stated he would need weeks to gather the funds in order to pay for the repair We agreed to giving him the time requested and we ended the call During the same call we also informed *** *** that the vehicle would be ready for pick up that upcoming Saturday November 21st, About mins or so later *** *** called back and stated he would now have the money by the completion date of November 21st, He asked us to call him as soon as the vehicle was ready, this conversation took place on November 19th 2015.After hanging up with *** *** I continued to work on his vehicle in a effort to return it to him by the advised date of Saturday the 21st On Nov 20th at around 9:39am, I was alerted via text that *** *** had left negative and misleading feedback on our Facebook Shop page I immediately contacted ** *** via our shop cell phone, even though this was outside of our business hours, during which before I was even able to get out a full sentence *** *** started screaming at me, cursing at me and finally threatening me At that time I hung up and the conversation then turned to one of multiple text streams by *** *** *** *** felt that he was entitled to see what I, as a business and re-seller, pay for parts I sell in my shopwe feel otherwise as this has no bearing on the retail cost of the part *** *** felt that we should buy from some random aftermarket discount seller website, which is not part of our business practices because if there is a problem with the parts, these kinds of sites tend to be very difficult to work with on resolving an issue *** *** continued demanding that I produce my cost receipt and in addition he felt that I should have his receipt sitting right next to me whilst I was sitting in my living room on the couch getting ready for work Please remember this was 9:in the morning, our shop business hours are 11:00am to 6:00pm Our cost price on parts purchases are not for public distribution and will not be divulged.On 11/23?** *** filed in Prince Georges County Courthouse a lawsuit against our company claiming $ on a vehicle he just stated to the Revdex.com with in this complaint that he's paid Us dollars for Again ** *** says he is looking for a resolution to this issue but his actions show otherwise We will address all issues within the Md District Court System, also I see that *** *** is seeking a bill adjustment, and we would have had no problem entertaining that previously, but instead of discussing his issues with us (albeit after he authorized the work) he decided to vent his frustrations on our Facebook page within multiple misleading posts and rants He has also continued to verbally threaten and berate the shop staff With this type of behavior, we at this time are not willing to make any adjustments to his bill. Good afternoon,On Aug 23, 2014 around 11:30 I received a phone call from my mother that my grandmother was about to pass.  We immediately drove to [redacted] NC to see her one final time.  Our shop phone is a Cell and I had left it in the shop with the expectation of coming into work on...

Sunday.  That did not happen so I had no way to call any of my customers.  We were not hiding from anyone or playing any games. we were dealing with a family matter which took me from work.. I greatly apologize for any inconvenience that me not being here cause but as I said we were dealing with a family situation.There we packages at our door and above our mail box, there even was a engine for a 2006 [redacted] at our door when we returned, Our shop has windows that if looked into you can see the contents of or work area.

Review: I took my motorcycle to A&J Cycle on August 1st for what I thought was a fuse replacement. Brought the bike back home headlights stop working so took the bike back to them on Aug. 5th. On August 7th called and was told that they were working on the problem but calling them slows them down so it I don't hear from them it mean nothing has changed. On August 26th I texted the owner after it has been 3 weeks to make arrangements to pick my bike up, no answer. I call on the 26th and get a voicemail, so I go by the shop on the 26th everything is closed up and [redacted] has left notes on the place trying to make delivers. I call August 27th still no answer go back to the shop it is still closed up. At this point I have no idea if the shop is still in business and they have my property that I want back. I don't owe them anything not trying to get out of paying a bill, I was trying to get my motorcycle repaired and this has turned into a game of just trying to get my property back. My next step after this is to call the police and get them involved if need be.Desired Settlement: I just want my motorcycle back, I don't want them to fix it I don't want then to explain I just want to be able to go pick up my bike and be done with this place. This is not how business is done period.
