Review: In October 2015, [redacted] was paid half of the contracted amount for concrete patio work to be started at my home. He has never started this work and I have asked him repeatedly to refund my money. All I get from him is excuses.Desired Settlement: Refund in full

Yes it is correct there were some delays. In the fall of last year we had a very rainy season which put the project off. Then it was too cold and snow on the ground at times. Over the Christmas holiday I was involved in a motor vehicle accident in which I was seriously injured and have still not fully recovered. There were also other customers I have been dealing with on the same issue and they all seem to understand and do not accuse me of making excuses. They asked me in June would I be interested in dong the job which I indicated yes. Then I received an email from the customer asking for the money back because they have some plumbing issues.If I was wrong in one way I would have to say I should have cancelled the contract earlier and refunded the money faster.
