Review: in Dec 2014 I had rented a suburban truck and airstream trailer from John, owner of airstreams4rent, now called retrorvs .. It was for a one week period. The rental vehicles and initial service was very good. However I had return home early due to a serious family illness, who died 2 weeks later. John helped us get to airport.
My complaint is that I never received my $700 deposit from John. In Dec 2014 and Jan 2015 I had called him several times about my deposit. He always had an excuse for not sending it. Either it was a change in computers or was trying to sell a RV to get cash. He even told me he owed other renters. Due to the death in the family, I had other things on my mind..
So recently in Jan 2016, he was contacted again. I emailed my contracts which showed what he owed me. He acknowledged it and said he would send a cheque on Jan 18, 2016.. It is now 2 weeks later and NO CHEQUE..
I'm tired of his excuses and delays. Others need to know what has happened. Before they are ripped off too.
I can forward my emails and his replies to the Revdex.com if necessary..
thank you... grant johnsonDesired Settlement: John needs to follow up on this matter and have better customer service. We could have easily been a repeat customer, as well tell our friends about a positive experience but that is not the case here.. I want my $700 US returned to me.

thank you John for mailing the cheque. Though the same day, Jan 29, I made the complaint, your email , dated Jan 29, said the cheque would be in that evening " when the postman comes by " .. Not 2 days prior to the complaint.. So this issue will be resolved once I have received and cashed the cheque.. Thank you..[redacted]
