Alan has stated on the phone on 7/**/that he will be in direct contact with the consumer in order to get the issues resolved

Good Day [redacted]..   The attachment below is the invoice that was signed by [redacted] stating the work performed and payed for..   Please remember that the work [redacted] is complaining about is the banging radiator that he paid $60 to pitch the radiator. We also did...

him a favor and pitched another radiator for no additional charge.   Im a bit nervous about my business reputation because of his complaint. If you don't know already,  air tech is 95% word of mouth. Im hoping to resolve this issue with very little notice to the world.   Thanks again for helping me through this... Alan Air Tech Mech

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I understand that the business has offered to work with me and I would like to see this business succeed. So am willing to let them try cleaning the  radiator out once again and to give a quote for a replacement.

Revdex.com:At this time, I have not been contacted by Air Tech Mechanical Inc regarding complaint ID [redacted].I want to further note that I had another company come in for a diagnostic visit and it was confirmed that the blower motor was never actually purchased or...

installed/replaced despite my being charged for one (the original wiring was in tact--a new motor would have required the wires of the new motor be spliced into the wiring of the cage that the HVAC motor is in....& even the original discolored plastic zip ties around the wire bundles were still in place, no fresh screws or scratches from screws being removed...if the motor was not spliced in it would have required the entire cage of the Whalen unit be removed which would have required cutting into the walls to take out the whole thing).Further, it was verified for me that the services detailed in AirTech's service agreement for the annual contract included in the line items that as part of the maintenance checks they are required to check the blower motor amps which would have caught the increased amperes of the blower motor above manufacturer settings which AirTech also confirmed was what happened in an email on 9/*/2016 and thus this 6/**/2016 maintenance visit should have caught the faulty motor before it died 2 mos later and caused the increased electricity bill for me for the 2 months in the summer. So in addition to breach of contract, they are also liable for the subsequent damages, and fraudulently charged me for services not rendered and new parts that were not purchased and not installed despite running my credit card for those charges.  Despite continued efforts to communicate with them via email since their phones have been "disconnected" for the last 2 mos, and them replying to group emails to other residents in the building they seem to conveniently never respond to my repeated emails asking them to address these lapse in service, their fraudulent and negligent service in the last 2 weeks alone. I have saved these email threads and printed out hard copies and also have photo evidence to support the claim that no new motor was ever installed. I have also obtained 2 estimates for fixing the motor of the whalen unit and whatever they did to my McQuay unit during their 11/**/2016 maintenance visit that rendered it defective despite being totally functional prior to their visit and that the refrigerant level is now at 0% even though it was running perfectly fine over the summer. I am presenting all this in Small Claims Court, the and the Dept of Consumer Affairs, and can send it here too if required.I also can't find any license information on them in the NYC Dept of Consumer Affairs database or the Dept of Buidings database for individual home improvement/ general contractor licenses for either owners (Alan V[redacted] and Andrew V[redacted]) and I'm growing increasingly concerned over the legitimacy of their business...as out of the 28 of the residents in my building alone that they have contracts with, at least 13-15 residents have reached out to me about them being disgruntled over AirTech having never shown up for any preventive maintenance visits as contractually obligated, or continual no shows for schedule appointments, complete lapses in communications for weeks or months at a time, and other faulty services.Sincerely,[redacted]

Review: I called Air Tech mechanical (Alan) to fix (1) Leaking Radiator and (2) Banging Steam Radiator. Vendor constantly cancelled appointments (more than 10 times). Each time, cancellation was done at last minute. Finally problem with leaking radiator fixed. Problem with banging radiator still not fixed and he promised to come back and fix and clear AC system for past inconvenience. Kept canceling again and now cannot get a hold of him since one week( he was supposed to come of Saturday, ** June 2015 at 8:00 a.m). Full payment $650 has already been made to him.Desired Settlement: Full refund or repair

Alan has stated on the phone on 7/**/15 that he will be in direct contact with the consumer in order to get the issues resolved.

Review: On June, **, 2015 [redacted]. entered into a written contract with Air Tech Mechanical, Inc. to provide certain heating, ventilating, and air conditioning services at [redacted] for the sum of $12,500. On June, **, 2015 [redacted]. submitted a deposit in the form of a check for $8,500. Air Tech breached the contract in that they never performed the work required under the contract and failed to return the deposit, despite repeated promises to return the deposit sum of $8,500. As a result, [redacted] construction project was delayed and was forced to incur expenses in hiring another subcontractor to perform the services Air Tech Mechanical, Inc. was paid to perform.Desired Settlement: [redacted]. would like Air Tech Mechanical, Inc. to refund the $8,500 deposit.
