Review: [redacted] sold us a new roof and paint job for our home and collected a $10k down payment on the $18k job. After the job started he sold us new windows too and said we had to pay the entire $8k for that extra work up-front so he could rush out and buy the materials. That was months ago. He would say 'I'm at Home Depot loading up the truck right now with your windows, I'll be there in an hour. Your roofing tiles are also being loaded onto a truck in Stockton' and months would go by. It has now been nearly 3 months and no roof, no paint, and no windows. No refund has been given.Desired Settlement: Finish the roof and paint. Apply the $8k I paid for the windows to the balance on the roof.

Review: We contracted [redacted] of Aguirre Roofing on February 20, 2015 to replace 2 [redacted] French Doors and exchange one french door with new frames and [redacted] locks for our entire home. On the above date he requested a check of $2,585 which we issued to him. On March 5, 2015 requested a check for $5,000 to complete the job which we gave him. After repeats contacts with him he has yet to do any work and now he is not returning my texts. All my texts are on my I Phone at your request.Desired Settlement: We would like to have our $7,585 returned to us.

Review: After 3 months, job is still not complete. Needs to fix inside drywall and install skylight.

We signed a contract with Aguirre Roofing on 4/29/13. He stated that t\all work would be completed in 2-3 weeks. Now over 3 months later, he still has not completed the work. He asked if we would like new skylights on our patio, we said yes. He said it would be an additional 800 dollars. He removed the old skylight, but has not installed new ones. I have attempted to get others to come and install the skylights, and have been told because of the new tile roof, the roofer needs to do this. He also repaired some dry rot around the back door, and damaged the inside dry wall in the process. I have attempted to contact Mr.Jose Aguirre numerous times. he has said he was coming, but never showed up. I have left messages to let him know I am lodging a complaint.Desired Settlement: I want him to complete the work he promised

Review: Mr. [redacted] solicited me in December 2014 for repairs to my roof. He gave me an estimate for $2800 to repair everything that was needed. He promised to improve the attachment of the gutters, replace the existing gutter guards with better ones, Install metal beams above the gutters, replace the fascia wood, install 7 vents and replace all broken/cracked tiles.I gave him a check for $1000 to buy the material and begin work but he insisted I pay him the full amount $2800 which I did against my better judgement. Mr. [redacted] portrays himself as a friendly, trustworthy, likable person who has your best interest in mind. However, the real Mr. [redacted] is quite different as I have found him to be untrustworthy. As of today he has only completed the gutter work and installed 5 vents. I have called him more than 30 times, most times leaving messages and never getting a response. On occasion he will answer the phone, give me some excuse as to why he has not finished the work as promised and makes a new promise to show up and finish the work. He will even say that he has the material needed in his truck and he is on his way to my house. Invariably, he never shows up.Currently, there is a opening in my roof due to missing tiles, my roof has developed a leak near the area where he installed one of the vents, the fascia wood has not been replaced and the cracked tiles have not been replaced.Each time I speak with him he makes false promises to show up and finish the job. Now he will not answer the phone when I call and does not return my voice messages. Also, must be noted that Mr. [redacted] never gave me a written estimate but promised to issue a roof certification when the work was completed.Desired Settlement: I would like Mr. [redacted] to complete the work he promised as he has received full compensation for it: Fill the missing and replace the cracked tiles. Install new fascia wood. As an alternative to this work I have offered and Mr. [redacted] agreed to strengthen a section of the roof which is showing signs of caving in.Install the additional 2 vents.Inspect and repair the leak in my roof.As an option and in lieu of the completing the fascia work he must refund me $800 based on his quote.

I am rejecting this response because: Mr. [redacted] has re-appeared and promised to complete the work. As of today he completed the installation of the vents. He has promised to finish installing the remaining cracked/broken tiles, missing rakes, fix the leaking and structurally reinforce the area of the roof that has the bowing issue.I spoke with him to day and told him that if he completes the work as promised I will inform the Revdex.com so that the case may be closed. I will do so as soon as the work is done.

Review: Mr. Aguirre did a leak repair on my roof in January 2015. In our agreement, he agreed to complete the job by repairing leaks and repairing all loose shake wood on my entire rooftop and clean out the roof gutters as well. He promised to do a complete job. However, all he did was repair the leaks on one side of the roof.As of this date October 8, 2015, he has not completed the full job. After numerous attempted phone calls and several phone conversations with him with his promise to complete the job or a refund, neither has been fulfilled. He now ignores my voice messages and ignores my phone calls.I unfortunately trusted this individual with completing the job in good faith.Desired Settlement: Please request a refund in the amount of $700 in the form of a cashier's cheque payable to me.
