AFS worked on my foundation 10/18/ It was a messy job but they were dealing with red mud They did what they could to keep my yard intact Joe, our foreman, Ilias and Ross communicated with me every step of the way because I had to work and could not be there They came when they said they would and finished when they predicted They did a great job Michael was our inspector He was great to explain everything, including payment Once again the communication was there That was so important If this company says they will be there at a set time, you can count on it I would strongly recommend this company [redacted] , Al

The water channel system was installed July The installation of this system was not considered by the complainant to be satisfactorily completed due to the following occurrences Note: While the basement would take in water it took a significant amount of rain to cause it to flood and would usually have lengthy periods of time between floodingEven then the water would enter the front right of the basement and flow to the back left into a sumpThe water would not cover the complete floorThe problems with the installation occurred times between from through Problem Description First Event: After Installation the first heavy rainfall caused flooding in front of the fruit cellar to the back wallThe investigation by AFS subsequently showed that concrete had been installed where the water entered the sump blocking the channelThis forced water back in the channel and eventually out of the channel into the basementThinking that was the only problem the concrete

We brought in AFS to address uneven flooring so we could move forward with floor re-tile After work was completed floors still uneven [redacted] with AFS came out to our home on March 29, to perform a free estimate We expressed to him that we had hired someone to lay new tile in our kitchen and once the old tile was removed he discovered the floors were uneven and would need to be level before new tile could be laid [redacted] went underneath the house and performed an extensive investigation He came back up and showed up photos of the issues and the plan to remove water from the basement and level the home so the tile could be laid I expressed to him my wanting to move quickly because our floors were torn up and I wanted to get the new tile laid He said he could have a crew start work and the floors would be ready for tile within a week of work commencing but he needed to check the schedule for availabilityThe work was completed with additional work being added on and

This company is the bestoutstanding service from start to finish and after! We chose AFS because of their products, value, service, service plan, and most especially the people who work for AFS. [redacted] did an EXCELLENT job educating us about every aspect involved with our plan. He answered all our questions so well and worked with us every step of the way. In addition, he has stayed in touch to check on our project even after its completion. [redacted] and his crew who completed the work in our crawlspace and basement area also did an awesome job for us. ***'s team worked really hard and kept us informed daily of their progress and any problems that cropped up. We were extremely pleased with both [redacted] and ***. The AFS service plan was a must for us. Having this option made a significant difference as well. AFS was hired to correct my home foundation, they agreed to a price of $ They were not able to perform the duties of the contractAFS has not corrected any issues that were my concerns with my project
They were to lift my home foundation, but they were not able to, and also are trying to use less piers to lift and charge more for the service This service did not improve anything at my home
They were to use poly to lift my garage slab and were not able to do this serviceThey state the slab was too heavy/thick but they saw this prior to performing the work They saw the slab from installing piers prior to the poly work and knew the situationAnd even after my request for contact via text with *** *** before they continued they went forward This service did not improve anything at my home
They removed a French drain/destroyed it and did not ask if I wanted it replaced, did not mention this to me I had to tell them that they had to replace this, sin

AFS did a tremendous job repairing my home foundation that was cracking Very professional estimator *** and crew led by *** Kept me informed multiple times daily on the status of my work Completed the job per contract I also felt the crew did an excellent job in returning my yard, that had to be disturbed for the job, back to original condition as best as they could One additional point that I was very impressed seeing was that AFS sent a quality inspector to visit the job in progress

Have been attempting to have adjustments made to foundation through warranty for over a month
I have been trying for a month and a half now to get AFS to make adjustments to my foundation through warrantyAfter a rep came out to see what needed to be done, AFS set an appointment to come out and make adjustments weeks laterA day beforehand, they called and rescheduled, because they were behind scheduleThe next appointment was a week laterOn that date, I sat around my house and waited all day, they did not call me and they did not show upI called the next business day, and a new appointment was set up a week out againThis time, a team finally showed upThere were points that needed adjustmentOn the first, they told me they couldn't make any adjustments, because the jacks had pressureHowever, there is still a gap in the mortar where the crack was, and my drywall is cracked inside from the separationThe second point they claimed they were not informed that they need

I was so happy with my experience with AFSThe whole crew turned a nightmare situation into a positive situation with a quick look at my home and a plan that got the foundation back to the level of safety that I can live with for many more years

My complaints are as follows: floors are unlevel, cracks in walls and ceilings, doors won't close, front door won't open all the way, closet door won't close, blocks of wood had to be put under the head of my bead (inches) to level my bedNail coming out of ceiling, bowing walls, the concrete porch has chipped paint and cracks all overCracks in brick, floors are pulling away from the walls, a bowed wall in hallwayThe cover over the intake for the furnace popped out of the wallI have pictures to prove alot of this
