Just bought my house and it needed the main pipe snaked. They let the snake bounce all around and it damaged my floor, baseboards and my carpet.
The snake bouncing around left marks on my floor that won't come up, scraped the paint off my baseboards and got marks on the carpet. After multiple calls they refuse to acknowledge they caused the damage and won't fix their mess up. I even pointed it out to the tech when he was here and he tried to clean it up himself to no avail. They don't return phone calls when they say they will, they tried to avoid the problem by saying it wasn't their fault. I have witness who confirmed that it was.
I want my floors cleaned and my money refunded for the poor workmanship of the company.
On 05/24/2019 The home owner had an appointment for a clogged line. While the technician was out to clear the line, which he did successfully, a sink machine was used. Upon completing his tasks the technician cleaned up behind himself as he does on every job, not everything came up, but homeowner stated she would clean the floors.
Once the homeowner informed the company that she could not get "spots" up off the floor, Affordable Plumbing sent out a flooring specialist who attempted to clean the "spots" off the floor only to find it appears to be part of the pattern of the floor and therefore unable to be cleaned off.
In regards to the baseboards, the flooring specialist cleaned them, but stated that it could not be determined if the matter on the base boards was from the technician or the pets in the home. Nothing was said in regards to the baseboards being damaged.
While the flooring specialist was there the homeowner also pointed at a spot on the floor where her dog had chewed the carpet, she said there had been a spot there from the technician, but there was now the hole from the pet chew. The flooring specialist fixed the spot in the carpet also, at no charge to the homeowner.
Affordable Plumbing Solutions has made every reasonable effort in attempts to satisfy the customers complaints.
Affordable plumbing was paid for fixing a drainage problem. They did not do thorough job and the problem came back in less than 2 weeks.
Affordable plumbing was paid to clean the drain lines at *** st the week of Nov. 15th. According to the Office manager and the tenant, only the lines outside the house were cleaned. As a result, the problem still exists. Despite the clog may have allowed water to drain for a short while. Affordable did not fix the problem they were paid to do and will not make the issue right. The problem came back Nov. 30. A properly fixed issue does not return that fast unless the job was not done right the first time.
I have to fix this issue my self because there is hazardous material backing up into the house. They can refund my money.
Mrs. called our company to unstop their rental home in Perry. They were given two options; to install a two-way cleanout, or pull the toilet and run the sewer machine through the flange to unstop. Affordable Plumbing Solutions was hired to install a two way clean-out/access point outside of Mr. rental home. We charged him to install the clean-out (which included a one year warranty on the clean-out installation) and to unstop the home (we do not warranty our unstops and clearly stated that to the homeowner over the phone and on his invoice). When we unstopped the home the technician pulled back a very thick black sludge (which we explained to the homeowners) We gave Mr. an estimate to replace the sewer line at his rental home because the current sewer line is old terra cotta piping. His wife agreed to all work completed and paid the bill over the phone. They were sent a copy of their invoice/receipt via email and their hard copy was mailed USPS to their office. All invoices clearly state (and again it was explained over the phone before any work was completed) an unstop is not warrantied. Mr. called two weeks later demanding we go back to his rental home and unstop the house again (where multiple adults are living/hanging out in a one bathroom home). We explained that we would be more than happy to unstop the home, but we would not be completing the work for free. Mr. was very upset and threatened to take a lien out on APS and call his lawyer. Affordable Plumbing Solutions is always more than willing to work with customers and make things right, but we cannot work for free. Copy of invoice can be provided upon request.
