Affordable Luxury Painting & Remodeling

I have had Affordable Luxury Painting & Remodeling to install a new roof on my house. They started on 5/3/2018 and now on 5/30/2018 it is leaking.I have tried to contact them to fix this problem but they refuse to answer my calls and have done nothing to fix it. THIS IS NOT TRUE. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE PHONE RECORDS SHOWING THAT SOMEONE CONTACTED ME. IN FACT I CAN ALSO SUBMIT MY PHONE RECORDS.Our partner *** was working with *** on the project. *** our partner passed away before we started project. *** contacted me a week after the funeral. At this point I did not even have the contract because it was at *** house and his family could not find any info. of job. Eventually *** sent me email he received from ***. *** SAYS:I have stopped doing business with this company as they are unprofessional and do not follow repairs by county building codes. They have also left my vinyl siding job uncompleted and windows and door trim not finished. I will be seeking damages to my property from the leaking roof that I paid for in full. *** wanted us to work on the siding and moving windows still with out a contract. My workers *** worked on removing siding, moving windows for him and adding sheeting on the house. We were being pressured by *** to finish (I think because he wanted us done so fast with the siding and the windows moving because he knew he couldn't pay us. after 3 days of work *** announced that he had no money to pay us. At this point we asked when he was going to have money to pay for the labor. He said he was waiting for the funds from the bank. At that we explained respectfully that we could not complete a project with no money commitment, no contract commitment. When we explained that we could not continue with out any signed contract he yelled at all of us and told us to leave. In hindsight I was very intimidated by *** and coming off of the death, funeral and scrimmage with our partner *** passing away I was emotionally weak and against my better judgment forge ahead with this project. I also had was visiting a down the street from him and as of yet nothing new has been done. I believe they are out of money and trying to get money from me. If there is any damage it is because he could not continue with the work and as I said it is still not done so its been 4 weeks, if he had money it would be done by now i'm sure, since it was No matter what he got mad and told us to not comeback when all was almost done. Its been almost 4 weeks and it is the siding because it was not completed where the roof meets the siding. In which we offered for free to take care of and *** said "ill take care of it my self." and it never rains around here. IN FACT HE OWES US FOR REMOVING SIDING, SHEETING 80% OF THE HOUSE AND MOVING 8-10 TO TEN WINDOWS AND INSTALLING A REAR ENTRY DOOR.

Lies, Lies , Lies. This company and the owner *** only knows how to lie and scam people. I have all proof of payment in full and the material list that I paid for. *** is a unstable woman that does not know how to run a company. I asked her from the beginning to type me out a detailed contract and her excuse was that she does not own a typewriter. I then asked her to type it out on a computer using office and she said that is not what she does. This is the type of person that I had to deal with. Her worker dont own a car so she has to drive then to and from work. The first week they only worked 2 days and told me before they started that they would have 4 people working. Well they only showed up on the first day with 2 people. Then the next day with only 2 people. It took over 2 weeks to install my roof and it still is not complete as it leaks. The village inspector said that the job is not finished and that the work of said company is not up to code. I fired *** and her workers when I found out that they were wasting material and not doing the work that they told me they were going to do. Still to this day I have never received a typed detailed contract for my roof. Complaint: ***

I reject *** actuations. He refused to sign a contract. I hand write it out because my contract is a 2 part form with our terms and conditions on it. He refused to sign it. He also has emails from Our partner that passed away. in which we would have printed out and than attached to written contract and all parties sign it. signed it etc.

the customer refused to sign my contract. I use a 2 part form. The form has terms and conditions printed on the back of each page. I write the project on the front and there is 2 places to sign. A place for me to sign and a place for the customer to sign. in 16 years never had a problem.
