Affordable Haulers & Movers

I spoke with [redacted] two months ago and called again a month ago to confirm the date and time of the move. On the morning of my move I called him and he had "forgotten" about my move and booked another job. I was told that he should be able to do mine between 1 and 2 that afternoon. Needless to say, after waiting around all day, my move did not happen. He agreed to be at my house the next morning by 8:30 and arrived at about 10:10. As for the move itself, they were very nice, and packed quickly, but did not bring any boxes and/or packing paper with them. I had to miss an additional day of work and was not even offered a discount for my time. I was charged full price, plus gas.

What an awful experience! They only took cash so there is no way to trace the transaction. SHADY!!!!!

1) Arriving 2 hours late without any notification is unprofessional and just rude. That is no way to start off a relationship with a customer.

2) Taking calls while on the job is also unprofessional. Especially when it made them go over our two hour limit.

3) Finally, I was APPALLED that they charged us the full $75 for going ten minutes over the appropriated time. Way to take advantage of your customer.

Would never recommend.

I had some stuff to move to storage in preparation for listing my house. When I set up the appointment, he said they would be at my place about 1:30 because they would be coming from another move. Ok. Understandable. The day of the move came... No confirmation call...1:30 came and went.... No call. I called multiple times and left voice messages. No reply. Finally at 3:00 I get ahold of him. The first words out of his mouth (after "affordable hauling and moving") were yeah yeah we're on our way. Super snotty and rude. Then he says it'll be about an hour... Maybe more cause they were in traffic coming from about 40 miles away, and had to drive through Seattle in rush hour traffic. I couldn't believe how unprofessional, this business is to not call and let their client know they would be late. I had taken the afternoon off work. I thought about it, called back and canceled the moving service! Life is too short to deal with rude people.
