READ THE FINE PRINTIt all sounds good up front but there are so many got yas it is unbelievable I purchased what was a deluxe premium plan with additional protectionOn the first request, months after purchasing the plan, I found that my HVAC system was not covered because it did not have a certified pre inspection report and serviceThe next several weeks later, a request for service on an appliance and found that because it was covered under manufacturers warranty, I, as the owner, had to contact manufacturer to a get part sent to mePaid for that call out of pocketIn addition to for A/C repairSo after paying close to a grand a year for insurance of which not much is really covered because of their exceptions I feel I was fleecedI am out the service of an appliance now for over a month and will just replace it, as opposed to spending the rest of my time on hold with a support line to nowhere to get another tech to come and agree that the part is bad and a two to three week order period, then a schedule to come and installThis is premium customer service from this company that they "let" you pay them extra for

AFC is vey responsive and easy to work with! So much better than past home warranty companies I have dealt with! The customer service is top notch

I purchased a home warranty from AFC for both of my homes, one in which a tenant was staying in March August 2015, I called to advise AFC that the A/C unit where my tenant is staying was outThey took 3days to respond, after I made several subsequent calls to indicate it was an emergency (96deg weather is an emergency with no A/C)The response I received on the 3rd day was an email indicating I needed to submit paperwork showing the maintenance had been performed on the unitThis should have been requested on one of the calls I made to report the issue, in order to expedite the processI paid for the repair of the A/C unit out of my own funds and am currently taking strides to cancel both of my accounts with this companyI anticipate a full refund minus 3mos of use and $cancellation feeA price worth paying to get as far away from this company as I canEven in emergency situations, I shudder to think what the response would have been if I had water leaking in my homeThis company drags their feetI have no desire to continue a business relationship with them I had American Home Shield as a warranty company prior to them, I only left because I wanted to try another companyI would recommend American Home Shield over this company any dayTheir customer service is light-years ahead of America's first choice

I had a bad experience with this companyThey did not fulfill their warranty commitmentEspecially during the times I need to get something done in my condominiumAlso, I had to request for refund because I paid for yrs full to get a discount but the subcontract warrany provider DCI warranty closed downThey agreed to refund my remaining money but as of this moment I have not received itI talked to their representative, certain John C but reasoned out he refunded the amount back to my credit card, which was already closed during that timeI ended up losing my moneyI wont recommend AFC home warranty to anyoneLook for other companies instead

I am not at all happy with my AFC Home Club warranty. I had a Goodman AC unit that stopped working. It was still under warranty with Goodman for parts only replacement BUT not for labor to repair the unit. AFC DENIED coverage for the repair (labor) service. That is not right. I bought this policy to cover parts and labor. I would not buy this warranty!

I like this companyI was having issues with my dryer, it wouldn't come on at allI called in the breakdown and had a young lady answer all my questions right away She assured me someone would be out that day to look at it, to be honest I doubted that would happen since it was 4pm on a Friday, but then minutes lady, MrFix It called and was out within the hourMost of the repair was covered except a $dial which I just paid forI was pleased with the timely response and serviceI will stay with them for a while

I just started the home WarrentyI read the contract because I had days to cancel and get back my depositSo I am responsible for PM of certain appliances One being my furnaceI had my yearly done as per contract and it was passedBut when I went to use it the pressure switch failedAFC home club jumped right in and helped me outOne thing that impressed me was I could use already used certified tech from my choice companyNice to know the person coming into my home

Vernice was very patient and helpful I was going to switch to another company because of price but Vernice worked so hard to get our claim thru She continued to follow up and we actually got a refund!!

They started out with great customer service but as soon as it came time to file a claim they were exceedingly rude and unhelpful It took over two weeks of calling back and forth to get a contractor to even come and give me a quote because they said that AFC was notorious for not paying out claims I ended up paying out of pocket just to get someone to come out and look at the problem and AFC wouldn't even pay me back for the estimate price; I never even bothered asking for a refund for the repairs I have had a horrible experience and would never recommend them

Great Company....I tell anyone you get what you pay for and this is absolutely worth the money

We checked out different companies before and what they had to offer, and ended up with America's 1st Choice Home ClubSubmitting a claim to them was very easy and their claims rep was very goodThe tech was fantastic and his work was greatI had a really good experience

I am extremely displeased with the customer service I received on my FIRST requested claim with your company When I bought my policy, I added on my above ground hot tub (as stated in my service agreement) I called for a claim and initially was assigned to a repair service that only works on poolsI then called back and was able to schedule with a different company My husband is a member of the US NAVY and took a day off from work so that we could have our hot tub fixed on Monday 8/30/My husband recently returned from a month deployment serving this country and this is the stress he is forced to deal with upon returnStress caused by your representatives and their lack of knowledge regarding the terms of agreement The technician, assigned by your company, diagnosed the problem and indicated the need to have the motor replaced After he took my hot tub apart (which caused a significant loss of water), he attempted to file a claim and was denied So after my husband lost a full day of work and the technician provided hours of labor, we still have a broken hot tub
I called to speak with a manager and was informed that someone would call me back the same day Of course, I received no call back and still waiting for a call or an email back I attempted to call and was informed that all managers were gone for the day I requested to talk to a supervisor and was told she could not help me I then insisted and after holding approximately minutes total I was transferred to Vernice She informs me that my agreement only covers in-ground hot tubs and suggested I address my concerns with sales team who suggested I buy coverage for my above ground hot tub She even offered to transfer me to that team Well, luckily I had access to my agreement and was able to direct her attention to #which clearly indicates that the above ground hot tub parts are covered Then she goes on to state that they need receipts proving that my hot tub was less than years old (my hot tub is only years old) My question is, why was this claim ever denied and what is our compensation for now having to take another day off from work to have my hot tub fixed? Secondly, why was I told I would get a call back the same day and no one contacted me? Thirdly, when I signed this contract, why was I not informed of your "depreciation" policy? That is not what I was told when I added this this my policy
Again, I am EXTREMELY displeased with this company's ethics and customer service I have now been told that the claim will be covered but I am still responsible for the service fee This still requires that we give up a day of work (our earned vacation time) to deal with getting this problem fixed I feel that my family deserves some type of compensation for this inconvenienceOnce again, we have to make arrangements to miss ANOTHER day of work I am honestly fearful to ever have to file another claim with this company I want to know what will be done to make this right or how I can get out of this contract with a company that apparently treats paying customers so poorly I have now noticed several negative reviews on the Revdex.com site
I look forward to speaking with someone regarding this matter I requested a call from management and I have yet to receive a phone call
FYI A person by the name of Carla did send an email after I pointed them in the right direction to help them read their own terms of agreement contract, stating our claim would be approved but that was days ago and our hot tub is still broken and no technician contacted us as we are sitting in limbo not knowing where we stand At this point I don't know if AFC contacted the technician to inform them the original claim is approved since you guys had denied the original claim and waisted their time ZERO apology was ever offered when Carla's email was sent to us All customers should matter and treated equal!!!!
