04/05/2016 This matter is very urgent to resolve, in accordance with MN statute the boat and trailer in question is incurring daily storage charges, interest and late fees in which will get out of control if not taken care of immediately. After days he will lose his asset and we will auction boat at Hennepin county sheriff’s mechanics lien sale I recommend that Mr ***/***/Kcompletely read MN Statute to fully understand the problem he has createdMr *** was sent and received notice of demand for payment on 03/20/which included notice of storage, interest and late fees by certified US mail When *** *** came to Aero Upholstery He gave me a fake name / Alias and refused to give me an address or fill out a check in sheet which all customers normally do hereThe name he gave is *** Kand *** ***Though research I found out his real name is *** *** ***. I also found several businesses listed in his name and other aliases with an address of a UPS mailbox center, this is typical of someone that regularly runs Scams. I originally gave Mr.*** a verbal estimate of $to make a Cockpit cover an item in which we charge by the foot forWhen he brought the boat here he came in with a list of other work he wanted done while the boat was hereAt no time did I ever tell him I would discount my work in any wayI asked him for a deposit to cover the cost of materials of $which he agreed to and came in at a later date with $cash which was more than I asked for and I never specified to bring cash at that time At the time he gave me the deposit I had started an invoice and listed the cockpit cover, bimini top and upholstery work on the invoiceThe invoice listed $for the cover, $for the Bimini top and hour labor for upholstery repairOn the invoice I hand wrote and initialed the deposit amount on itThe invoice was not complete and was not to show payment in full for all the work that he authorizedIt was only to give a receipt for the amount of deposit Mr *** had already agreed to pay the Final invoice in full but with the way he has handled himself in this matter I will not accept anything but cash from him as I do not trust himIf and when he does this I will give him a receipt showing he has paid in full. If and when he picks up the boat he will need to show proof of ownership and a valid photo ID Again I cannot stress the urgency of this matter enough!!! The boat has already accrued days of storage charges. If he feels that he has been so wronged by me the best thing for him to do at this point would be to pay the bill and then sue Aero Upholstery in small claims court. Aero Upholstery has done nothing wrong and is only charging for the work that was requested by *** *** Mr*** is trying to Scam us
