When the customer ordered the product we did have 2 cartridges on back order, we thought we should deliver the equipment right away rather then wait for the 2 cartridges to arrive as the customer was wanting to get the equipment delivered as soon as possible.  The customer was using the...

equipment successfully as he did run out of ink while using.  When replacing the ink cartridge, the customer removed the cartridge improperly and caused the printer to become inoperable.  Our Service Manager did resolve the issue and the customer was printing again.  The printer unfortunately then developed a printhead issue which could have been caused by replacing the ink cartridge improperly.  The customer demanded that we resolve the issue immediately, but we unfortunately at that moment could not drive out with a replacement printhead which was not acceptable to the customer.  We both agreed at that time it would be best that we would provide a full refund.  Since we have had several days that have been Holidays the refund has not appeared on the customers credit card yet.  We did tell the customer that if the refund has not appeared in the time frame he was expecting he could call his credit card company and file a dispute which may speed up the process of getting the refund as well as guarantee the refund is in fact in process.  The refund will be in the customer's account we just ask that the customer to please be patient as we have had several Holiday days that will typically result in a few days longer for transfers to appear.
