To whom it may concern, I am intimately familiar with this individual as I’ve personally been the one to deal with her the entire time she’s been a “customer” of ours. We sold a brand new sleeping pad to this person who, some time after receiving it, inquired about returning it
because they were “just unsatisfied” with it and found that it was “not comfortable enough.” I said that we would of course take it back, and provided the return addressWe do not offer to pay return shipping except in the case of a defective productUpon receiving the item (a time afterward) we opening it to discover that the item was clearly used - it had dog hair on it as well as a greasy substance splattered on it in multiple places, and what appeared to be the same substance in the shape of a dog’s paw in the middle of itThe customer made no mention of anything defective or wrong with the product other than she just didn’t like it, which makes it pretty obvious that this “goo” was not on the mattress when they got it (not to mention the dog print)She insisted it was in fact already there, but the mattress was unopened from the factory, which I know this because I personally packaged it and shipped it to herI then offered to put her in touch with the customer care department at the manufacturer directly if she believed it happened at the factory, but she declinedIt’s completely absurd to assert that I sent her a defective product on purpose and she has absolutely no evidence to support this, I explained all of this to the customer and offered a very fair refund due to the fact that the item was nearly ruined and could not be sold, even as an “open box” item (which we don’t deal in anyhow)She accepted that and I refunded her that amount, at which point I believed this was resolvedShe then emailed only a few business days later asking where her refund was, and I informed her that it can sometimes take up to business days for refunds to show up on a bank accountShe has definitely received her refund and I haven’t heard from her since.
