Review: Long list of problems with the construction to my new home that this company is responsible for including the incorrect installation of the logs (log cabin home), so that the house will continue to leak during rain storms. In addition they walked off the job leaving me with having to fix or install items that they were contracted for including: Mold Remediation, contractors left water in the crawl space area then sealed it in causing mold throughout the entire area and on all the floor joist for the first floor. Discovered by building inspector.Ridge Vent repair, contractors did not install ridge vent correctly on the roof, causing snow and water to enter the home throughout the attic area and second floor.Installation of vent soffits, item not completed by contractorBack deck and stairs, as shown on the plan item not constructedInstall 1x8 pine v-joint ceiling on rafters in living room, as shown on the amendment to the plan, not completed. Install foundation vents, not completed per code. Install post from second floor to ridge, support post, not installed. Frame pantry under stairs, not constructed per plans, framing in bathroom and closet not constructed. Leaks throughout all the windows and doors, per the manufacture they have not been installed correctly. Incorrect weather proofing of the foundation plates, so water continues to get in the house. Removal of straps to main support beam in garage (major support beam needs to be replaced).Desired Settlement: It is costing an additional $18,000 to fix or construct what was contracted with this company.
