I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. When this gentleman showed up at my house the system was blowing (as he stated it was not) The issue was that the system was constantly blowing and NOT shutting off as it was not coolingI explained this to him upon his arrival, when he left, as well as the following morning when I reported it was not workingAt one point while at my house he did make a comment about the system not blowing and I had to correct him on the spot and tell him it was Due to us having to use window units to keep the house cool we had TURNED the thermostat off so that we were not burning electricity with both running the house system as well as using window units We had NEVER had an issue with the system not turning on The ONLY issue was that it was not blowing cool air I repeatedly attempted to explain this issue to this man as well as detail the extensive repairs we had recently had done to the system in order to help him understand the history and help with his diagnosis The thermostat that he "suspected" was faulty was a brand new digital thermostat that had caused no issues In addition to his lack of work in understanding our issue and trying to resolve our problem he out right refused to come and assess the situation less than hours of him being at my house to "repair" our issue That should show exactly his work ethic He never offered to schedule to come back out at a later time or date I was not expecting him to show up immediately to rectify the situation as I understand the busy schedules of service providers I was attempting to relay that our issue was not resolved Instead of trying to schedule an additional time this man was rude, uncooperative, argumentative, and nasty As additional information, I did have a second company come out who was able to immediately able to diagnose our issue as the TXV valve which is correlation with our evaporator coils that were replaced this last winter If Advanced Services had attempted to listen to my explanation of our service history he might have been able to actually do some needed work at my house Going even further, I researched this company after having a poor experience with them There is another negative review written about Advanced Services from a customer in Chester, VA who detailed her heat going out in the winter and Advanced Services coming to fix the issue She reported in her review that just as in my case, this gentleman only thought the thermostat was bad, replaced it and left, leaving her without heat until another knowledgeable company was able to come out and do the work This company had a track record of poor service I sincerely hope no other Richmond, Chesterfield, or surrounding resident has to go through any of this

Revdex.com spoke with the owner of the company who said that the customer did need another thermostat, as the fan would not come on at all and that after he replaced the thermostat, cool air was blowing when he leftHe stated that it's possible the customer had additional issues, but the thermostat
was a necessary repairHe also stated there is one deductible per claim, and she did not have to pay another deductible in order for the second company to correct any remaining issues, and deductibles are not returnable

After speaking with the business he stated that he is a vendor for the warranty company and both times his company went out to look at the problems mentioned no mechanical issues were foundAfter the company got the notice of a complaint from the Revdex.com they contacted the warranty company and were
told another vendor had been dispatched as a second opinion and once again there were no mechanical issues found with the system

as an elderly woman I have to have heat during the winterthese men fixed my heat within an hourvery nice people

Do not trust these people. It would take pages and pages to detail exactly how infuriatingly dishonest they were. I regret giving them my money.

Review: This company installed our replacement AC unit last year. At that time, they took 8 days to install it, because the [redacted] refused to send someone to help his service man. It was replaced during June, the hottest time of the year. This year, the AC is not cooling as it should. Three weeks ago, we put in a claim with our home insurance plan. The [redacted] came out and said nothing was wrong (he didn't take it apart, he didn't really check anything.) It took a full week to get him to come out again. This time he sent the same man who installed the unit. That man said it was icing, completely blocked with ice, and that we should turn it off until he could look at it. He also said this was highly unusual for a new unit. But his boss said he couldn't come back for 4 more days. So we sweltered in the June heat for 4 days. Today the boss man comes out and says, "nothing's wrong." The man is incompetent. He also argues with my wife when she tries to explain what is wrong. He doesn't write down what she told him, so when he comes, he blames us for not knowing what's wrong, even though he was clearly told. Poor customer service, poor professional attitude.

After the company got the notice of a complaint from the Revdex.com they contacted the warranty company and were told another vendor had been dispatched as a second opinion and once again there were no mechanical issues found with the system.
