I signed a contract for home to be repairs months ago. Checks mailed to them but not completed.
I began receiving emails asking me to comment on work completed on 2/18//2020. However NO work has been completed and no work has started.
I still would like home repaired per contract I signed months ago.
I am responding to this complaint on behalf of Advanced Pace Technologies, LLC. We have handled our obligations as quickly and efficiently as possible taking in consideration the responses we have received from this homeowner and her mortgage company.Based on our signed contract, we were required to receive a 50% deposit in order for us to start the permit process. We assisted the Homeowner since the day the contract was signed with all the forms and documentations required by her mortgage company. There were several non-APT related issues that arose before the money was released. We did everything on our end to make sure this job was never delayed. Unfortunately, there are many moving parts in this process that APT cannot control. Some include, the issuance of the funds, Permitting process, and ultimately the actual Covid19 Pandemic. Please see below some of the most important events documented in chronological order in order to shed light on this situation:
10/28/19: Contract was signed between Advanced Pace Technologies and ***.
12/11/2019: Mortage Company was still waiting on some documentation to be provided by Ms. attorneys in order to release the deposit.
1/13/2020: Ms. had to request a new check from her mortgage company since the first one they sent never arrived.
1/28/2020: Advanced Pace Technologies, LLC received deposit in the amount of $5,508. This only half of the 50% required per contract in order for us to start the permit process. I personally called and requested the second draw directly from the mortgage company. Same day an email was sent to Ms. informing her of the situation and the actions taken after finding out the check amount.
3/5/2020: Second draw was received. We contacted Duval county to identify the jurisdiction we needed to pull the permit.
3/17/2020: Permit was issued by Duval County. Job was sent to the scheduling department.
4/1/2020: Covid19 Pandemic sp***d out, and Florida Governor announce statewide shutdown/stay at home orders.
4/13/2020: APT plumber went out to conduct pre-installation cleaning and scoping of the pipe process.
4/24/2020: We contacted Ms. via text message and email to schedule the start date. (scheduled for 5/1, tentatively, since we expected to be able to do it sooner the same week)
4/27/2020:APT ***ch out to Homeowner via email and text message in order to find out her best availability for a septic company to come out and pump out her septic system.
4/29/2020: Homeowner was informed that we will be able to come on 4/29 to start the job.
I sincerely apologized for the delayes, it was never our intention to make it seem like we were holding the repairs. Since day one we were in constant communication with the homeowner trying to assist with all the issues that got on her way. After permit was issue we were schedule only a couple of weeks ahead. Due to the unfortunate *** COVID19 PANDEMIC *** several jobs were delayed, construction process was affected in multiple ways like materials delivery, and not being able to send our crews of of town.
My name is Katiuska B, please feel free to ***ch out to me if there is any information I can provide in order to shed light into this matter.
My dirrect Cel.***
