Advanced Disposal

We have used this company for our residential garbage for about 6 months during which time our 4 yard dumpster was dumped less than 10 times. Our arrangement was for removal of household garbage every other Thursday. This company failed to pick up week after week for 5 straight weeks. Whenever they would come to pick up the garbage, my husband or myself would have to call to remind them that it was trash day. Very unprofessional. Their reason for not picking up was because "the dumpster was in an unsafe location". A location that the site evaluator deemed appropriate on THREE separate occasions. Initially before the dumpster was delivered, we discussed where we wanted to dumpster to be placed, he agreed that it was a great spot; when the dumpster was delivered, they had no problem with it; and a month after the dumpster was delivered we had another site evaluation and the manager, Doug, said the location was in no way dangerous. He also informed my husband and me that "they had a hard time keeping drivers... There were several new guys who didn't know how to drive the big trucks... And that it was difficult for them to maneuver and that was probably why they weren't able to dispose of the garbage..." Again, something that should have been discussed upon the initial site evaluation, not months after obtaining the services and paying money to have garbage removed and not actually receiving services for it. Also might I add, we did not receive any form of reimbursement for the months of service that we had payed for in advance.
