It is sad though because I have faithfully kept purolator oil filters in all of my cars and my family’s cars bought exclusively from Advanced Auto for the last 25 years . As my Dad did for us for a number of years when I was growing up . It’s a shame Advanced Auto .
My son's purchased a battery with a "Nationwide" warranty but the south parkway location refused to return it even though everything is within policy.
Purchased a battery from the Moore's Mill location but the south parkway location refused to return it even though it is within the company's return policy.
I would like a refund and compensation for my time trying to return the item within the company's return policy.
I spoke with Mr. on 1-9-2020. We did discuss the situation listed in the complaint. We found that the original store issues with the refund transaction. Mr. did say that the district manager called the main store in Huntsville to go ahead and refund as requested. Mr. told me that the situation has been resolved and he is happy with the outcome. I did introduce myself as the new general manager at the south parkway location and to call me if he needs any assistance in the future.
My name is *** and live in Huntsville, Al. I called several times and went to your store 2 times, located on Bob Wallace Ave, Huntsville, Al. I explained to the technician what I needed and that I verified that I had long time warranties on the items I needed. She looked them up and said she saw no parts in her system like that and that she only saw a radiator for me with a lifetime warranty. The last time I went to the store, I took my document showing that those items were warranted and they tried looking for the items again. The said the system that they used had recently changed over and customer have been experiencing difficulties. He then told me they guy who printed the information, he couldn't get in touch with him and I could come back by 9-14-19 to discuss it with him. My problem is two fold, in that he questioned the other lady if my name was on the document, then he wanted to ask the other guy before doing anything about. I am a consumer and have found Advanced Auto to be my choice for auto parts. To be humiliated and then asked to come back the next day to talk to another guy clearly establishes a lack a trust at this store and members of the community. As a result of being turned away and unable to fix my vehicle, I have had to leave my vehicle in storage at the rate of $8 per hour and rent a vehicle for $102.
Other (requires explanation) Make good on the warranty and pay the associated fees regarding the storage and rentle fees.
