I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution...
is satisfactory to me. ID [redacted]We received a check in the mail today from Advance Camping & RV for $240. The matter is resolved. Thank you.
Customer with Complaint 10 [redacted], did purchase his trailer from Advance Camping on March 4,2003. The storage for his trailer is not through Advance Camping, but through the property ownerJ. [redacted], whom he pays. Storage is a separate entity. We have worked with both of them to remedythis issue. His initial letter requested 5 months at $40, and this letter at $240 for 6 months: not sure why thediscrepancy. A check for $240 has been mailed to him. Previous to his correspondence, two entrancedoor locks were given to customer at no charge a value of $101.The local police department has had numerous break ins throughout the city, and we were told by themthat there was nothing they could do.The refund check of $240 should clear up this matter.Sincerely,
Review: We bought our travel trailer new in March, 2003. We have been storing it at Advance Camping since then. We have been paying $40/mon. We pay it yearly and are paid up until March 31, 2016. Our trailer has been vandalized 3 times in the 12 years we have stored it there. The last time was in September, 2015. Both door locks were damaged in an attempt to break in and a window was broken. The owner asked me what I would recommend to make the storage area safer since I am retired law enforcement. I answered but up a fence with a gate and lights. The owner responded that that would be too expensive. The police officer investigating our complaint suggested we find another place to store our trailer because the owner will never do anything to protect our property. We have found a different storage place and removed our trailer from Advance Camping on September 24, 2015. We gave the owner a written notice as to why we were removing our trailer and asked for a refund of the storage charge from October 1, 2015 to March 31, 2016-6 months at $40/mon or $240. We have not gotten a response from Advance Camping. We are asking your help in obtaining our refund.Desired Settlement: We are asking for your help in obtaining our refund.

I would not recommend this business to anyone. We bought a used camper from them in 2011 and have had several issues with it. We have not been happy with the customer service. The last issue we were told they couldn't get it in for service until after Labor Day and this was July 1.
When we have taken it in the work was not done properly and ended up having to take it back. They told us the previous owners only used the campre 3 times. If only used 3 times it should not have had this many problems.
