Courtney and his team did post support framing. Again the work was excellent, and quick. They are the best company. Thank you Adelios!
On 8-24-2018 Nina called me from Adelio's Contracting to tell they had a cancellation and they could have a service team out to my home around noon that day. I agreed to meet them at my home to review a leaking dishwasher. Adelio's Contracting website states that "Homeowners will be advised of service costs prior to work being performed." I was not told there would be any service charges to meet with their team.
In meeting the service team I showed them the problem and within a couple minutes they determined it was not a leaking pipe, but was actually a part on the dishwasher itself that was leaking. I was then told it was not something they could repair. I specifically asked if there was any charge and I was told by there technician that "Adelio's does not charge customers for service when no work was done." The service team soon left.
10 Minutes later the technician returned and told me he just spoke to his boss and his boss said to charge me $75. I told the technician that was unfair and I would dispute the charge. He then told me that I needed to call his boss.
I did not call Sergio and did not believe it was a fair request since I had already told the technician to let his boss know that I was disputing the charge.
We have reversed the charges per the customers request. Our technician made an error by telling the customer that there was no charge, and confused this appointment with another, which is why he said that. Once he was aware of his error, he informed the customer about the service charge. Our goal when charging a service fee is to cover our expenses when no work was done. The homeowner called me on a Wednesday evening on my cell phone. I instructed him to call the office to schedule on Thursday morning. Our secretary assumed I had discussed the service charges, which I had not, so obviously there were some mis-communications on our end that I have addressed, but this doesn't make us a dishonest or company, and I wish the homeowner would have called me before writing a review on a website. People make mistakes, and a conversation wold have been nice before trying to ruin a contractors reputation that is over 40 years in the making.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

I was so impressed. They came out at the appointment time & looked for an outside clean out (sadly w/o success) at no additional charge. They cleared my sewer lines of a serious tree root clog quickly and gave me feedback to help keep the lines clear. They cleaned up the worksite and were so incredibly pleasant and courteous. I highly recommend Adelio to anyone in the area!
