Review: Between October 2014 through December 2014 Farrah Smith, CNA or aide, employee of Addus HomeCare stole monies, 3 mop heads, and a large steak knife on previous occasions from my home while on company time. She also received food and other edibles while on company time for herself and her family due to the fact she stated her food stamps did not register on her card. The aide was hired to do housekeeping services in my home and was out of my view many times while in the kitchen, laundry area, and other rooms in my home. After being confronted by myself and 2 other witnesses in my home the aide told Addus I was giving her too much work and wanted to be removed from my services. This request was made after the aide offered not only to do extra services in which Addus would not be aware of but she also offered to do services for my 2 roommates: hair, wash feet and lotion feet, etc. when she NEVER did personal care for me as she had been instructed. Weeks late while I suffered without home help or communication from Addus I was to be sent another aide known only as Lori. She never arrived at my home because she lied about knocking on my door for twenty minutes and not receiving an answer and she also lied that there were no cars in my driveway when 2 cars had been parked there for some time. To be sure she was at the correct location I asked [redacted] to ask her what color were my hand railings and she gave a completely different color as to what my handrails actually are proving she was never in front of my home. A confrontation ensued when [redacted] called me to get a "landmark" to my house. I put the phone down so I would not engage in an argument. My friend saw how distraught I was becoming and picked up the phone to speak with [redacted]. She became seriously argumentive and spoke very callously to him. [redacted] spoke about me without my permission which is in strict violation of my privacy rights. [redacted] violated the privacy act which is a serious offense and a crime!Desired Settlement: Compensation of stolen monies, properties, and the numerous days in which I had to pay someone to laundry my clothing, wash dishes, and clean my home that was supposed to be the obligation of Addus HomeCare; for everyone in violation of the care and privacy of a client to be company policy disciplined; to be given a mature (older than 45), non-smoking aide who does not steal or lie from and/or about their clients. Definitely no welfare to work individuals!!!
