ADAMO Building Corporation

Selecting "Service Issues" as a blanket for all issues we have had with this builder.

On September 5th, 2019 we signed a contract with Adamo Homes to build a custom home. This complaint is being filed on June 19th, 2020.

We have had numerous challenges with this builder. Although we cannot speak to the quality of the home (as they just started digging at the end of April), we can speak to the service, organization, contract, and the poor manner in which processes are managed and challenges are handled.
Upon signing our contract, we followed through with the deadline on obtaining a loan. We are not wealthy, so found (2) loan programs that worked for us with what we had to put down. We complied with providing the builder with 5% down upon signing the agreement in Sept. 2019. Fast forward almost 10 months. During this time, we made selections for our home. We would be happy to share the lack of experience and unprofessional-ism that has ensued from there.
Unfortunately, our loan program has now been rescinded due to a risky economy. The builder has zero suggestions and has become threatening. We have obtained Legal Counsel. The builder loves to argue with his clients instead of trying to find common solutions to the issues at hand. He has zero empathy and will argue with everything you say. Please DO YOUR HOMEWORK! We were sold on trust and no longer have any. Dig deep in your research about this builder. Have a Real Estate attorney review the agreement prior to signing. This is a business for them. They don't care about things that are out of real control (Economy impacted by a Global Pandemic). We are sharing this with the hope that someone else will not be in the same position. We are broken and helpless at this point.
I finally came to the table with a proposal to move forward. They want time to "think about it". They are condescending, manipulating, rude, untrustworthy, and dishonest. BUYER BEWARE! This has been the worse experience of our lives and displaced our family.
