First of all I do not tell anyone they can not do their own repairsI did state that Idid not Know what the job might entail on that vehicleI did say that It would cost$for us to do the job.We used a flushing tee to join the heater hoses together the tee was 1/8" smallerthen the hose this connection would not damage the hosesAnd as this vehicle Isequipped with a heater shut off valve, which completely shuts off water flowthrough the heater hoses, a alight restriction will have no effect on engine coolingat all.I had told the customer that I thought the job would cost $however Ichecked the labor guide for replacing heater hoses (1.2hrs) and the heater controlvalve (1.0hrs)The job took hrs which Included the flushing tee topping thecoolant & testingOur hourly shop rate Is $per hour I therefore felt $100.00was very fair.We believe we did the job right and charged a fair price.ACTION RADIATOR, INC
