Company is responsible for our new build neighborhood's HOA. The company was delayed in responding to requests for our lot improvements. The company has not been actively enforcing HOA rules throughout neighborhood. Issues observed large weeds and trash in yards.
Not a proactive HOA. Would not recommend for managing properties.
We do routine inspections of the community. There are several homes at the front of the community that are not part of the HOA. We can not enforce any covenants on them. I believe this is where you are seeing the most issues.
The covenants provide 30 days to respond to improvement request. We typically respond within 1 - 2 weeks on the request.
We strive to provide the best service for the communities we manage.
I am not referring to the homes that are not included in the HOA. I am referring to the homes within the new build subdivision that are governed by the HOA. In particular there are homes with a pile of wood that has been in the yard for going on two months, weeds in yards that are the size of small trees, tire tracks from construction vehicles within yards, trash scattered around the neighborhood, and in one yard in particular had a watermelon, or fruit growing, in the front yard. In addition, trash cans visible from the roadway.
I was promised a proactive management company that would protect my investment, not a reactive only company. The realtor on duty has advised, on several occasions, she had not seen the representative for extended period of time for the community. If it requires a request from the homeowners to manage the properties then it defeats the purpose of a management company, and the HOA should be managed by the home owners.
