I was in the store on 6/18/16 and spoke to the manager about this and was told that Acme sets the tax policy for their stores. This is incorrect as the state where a store operates sets the tax code.

I purchase the same product in other supermarkets in NJ, Shop Rite, Stop & Shop and Fairway. None of these stores charge tax on unsweetened flavored water. They are compliant with the NJ tax code. The code is available online on the NJ site.
