I wish I had done more research before placing an order with ACME. Run, don't walk away from this company.
You will never get them on the phone.
They will not meet the promised order deadline, will not alert you to the delay and will not respond.
But most of all, the excel spreadsheet they send you will NOT tell you that you need to add dimensions for the style door you are ordering and WILL NOT check the order with you to make that addition. Result - you will pay for doors that are unuseable which arrive months after you ordered.
And still, you will NOT be able to get them on the phone.
I hope no one else falls for this scam of a company. I wish I would've done some research on Acme Cabinet Door Co before ordering. They communicate great while you're going through the order process, but then you get no response after they get your money. After months of waiting and giving them all the opportunity in the world to fulfill our order, we finally disputed the transaction with PayPal. They didn't even bother to respond to PayPal either. So, thankfully we got our money back. But, that doesn't make up for the frustration and delays this dispicable company caused.
I placed an order on 1/10/2014 for 19 custom made cabinet doors. Prior to the order I exchanged 7 diffrent emails with the company. All sizes and door styles were confirmed, and I was told that the order would ship within 2 weeks of payment. They sent me an invoive, and I paid on 1/10/2014. After 3 weeks, I called and emailed, got no response. I continured to call and email the company for the next 6 weeks. I finally got a renponse, via email that the order had shipped. the order was delivered on 3/17 ( 10 weeks after I placed teh order) Upon arrival, there were only 17 doors, and one was damaged. My original quote was for 19 doors, and the company invoiced me for 17 doors, and sent 17 doors. I called and emailed 5 times a day for 3 days, untill they finally responded via email, and told me there was nothing they were going to to.
I am rejecting this response because:
After failed attempts in contacting Acme Cabinet Doors Co. via email and telephone, I did not think the order would ship and contacted my bank to dispute the charge on 10/31.
Per the [redacted] tracking information, Acme Cabinet Doors Co. went to a Stockton, CA [redacted] location and shipped the order on 11/2, which was after the charge was disputed, which proves I had no intention to steal the doors since I had no knowledge an order was shipping prior to disputing the charge.
Since I filed my compliant with the Revdex.com, [redacted] at Acme Cabinet Doors Co. has contacted me again via email in a threatening tone.
I do not want the cabinet doors, had no intention of stealing the doors, and [redacted] is scheduled to pick the package tomorrow and will return to sender since I’ve rejected the shipment.
I am rejecting this response because: Your company did not comply with the following mail order law. Per the Revdex.com web page on Acme Cabinet Door "According to the Federal Trade Commission's Mail Order Rule, a company must ship your order within 30 days from the time they receive the order, unless its promotional advertising clearly states a period time for shipment. If the company cannot ship your order within the time period as it has stated, the company must send you written notice of the delay and give you the chance to cancel your order if you do not agree to the delay. If you choose to cancel rather than accept the delay, you generally need to do so in writing, and the company has seven days from the time it receives your notice of cancellation to issue a refund."
I am rejecting this response because: the funds were returned, correct.
However the product was ordered August 6, 2015. Company indicated delivery within 3 weeks of order. Did not receive and...
contacted company. Indicated delivery would ship on September 17 (3 weeks after promised delivery). No delivery as of October 3. My complaint was filed 8 weeks after the original order was placed. While financial restitution has been made it does not alleviate the aggravation experienced as well as the promises made regarding delivery, as well as the time spent contacting PayPal and the Revdex.com which I am convinced was instrumental in the return of my money. They say they pulled my order after the dispute was filed with [redacted] That dispute date was October 3, which was 8 weeks after an order they said would take 3 weeks to deliver.
I believe future customers need to be aware of this example of poor service through the BBC.
The business responded to this complaint but asked that its response not to be published.
In response to complaint filed by [redacted] Against Acme
Cabinet Doors
The compliant that was filed by [redacted] Against Acme
Cabinet Doors(Mar 5th) is completely unfounded, meritless and blatantly libelous. Our
efforts to ship Mr. [redacted]’s custom order were impeded by his own negligence.
The address he provided via his PayPal submission was “[redacted] W. [redacted] Dr.
[redacted] ** [redacted]” as you can see a 6 digit address number. This
was instantly rejected by UPS and was considered “Undeliverable”. Acme can not
be held responsible for the accuracy of the shipment address and it is the customer’s
responsibility to provide correct address information in order for us to ship
to. To blame us, then file a libelous Revdex.com complaint makes it very clear the Mr.
[redacted]’s true intention is to defame Acme even though it is his own fault that a
delay had occurred.
Mr. [redacted] had sent a follow up
email on **n 7th (not Dec 20th as he claims) asking the progress of the order, once again he
provided us another undeliverable address of: [redacted]
W. [redacted] Dr. [redacted]. Another attempt at shipping was made and
UPS stated that it was also “Undeliverable”.
Then on Mar 4, Mr. [redacted] emails
as and inquires about the status of the order which we responded on the 4th we
would check on the order status. Then on Mar 5th we receive the
complaint from the Revdex.com. Which is even further evidence that Mr. [redacted]s
intentions we not to receive the product which he had ordered and provided two
undeliverable addresses but to blatantly use the Revdex.com to defame Acme Cabinet
Doors.
On Mar 11th we sent 2 emails as
well as left a phone message with Mr. [redacted] informing him of the address issues
and finally he provided us with the correct address. The package arrived on the
14th of March and we have shipment tracking evidence of it being signed my
“[redacted]”.
To respond directly to the specifics of Mr.
[redacted]s Revdex.com complaint:
Mr. [redacted] claims that he called
“1000 times” this statement is unfounded and we have phone record evidence to
dispute it. Actually after reviewing all of our phone records we have zero yes
zero record of him calling at all. Most certainly if he called at all he did
not leave a message.
Mr. [redacted] also claims he sent 20
emails, he sent a total of 5 emails, 1). was his initial quote email, 2) was
him asking to order, 3) follow up in **n with the bogus address. 4) his
inquiring about the status, and 5) his response providing the correct address.
Mr. [redacted] claims that he ordered
the doors on October 31, 2013 this is also untrue, The invoice was emailed to
him on October 30, 2013 8:35 AM he paid the invoice on Nov 4, 2013 13:42:33 PST, which
gave him 5 days to read all of the terms of the invoice prior to ordering.
It is very clear by the evidence
provided which we can easily prove that Mr. [redacted]’s claims were brought on by
his own negligence and oversight. It is our formal demand that this bogus,
unfounded, meritless and ultimately libelous claim be completely removed from
publishing on the Revdex.com website. Should any of this information and untrue
statements provided by Mr. [redacted] be publish by the Revdex.com, out legal team here at
Acme Cabinet Doors will file a libel complaint against both the Revdex.com and Mr.
[redacted] for damages stemming for the publishing of this obvious false complaint.

Review: I paid for 41 cabinet doors and drawers on August 20th. To date I have only received 15 doors and no drawers. I have called the company literally 25 times over the past two months and have received no response. I have received response to some of my emails basically saying the remaining product will be shipped soon. I'm assuming I got scammed...Desired Settlement: I just want the remainder of the doors and drawers that I paid for. Thanks

Review: We ordered cabinet doors more than two months ago and after many phone calls that were not answered and more than 25 emails to the company, I have still not received my doors. We paid 1700$ up front and have asked for them to either ship us our order or refund our money. They only respond to email and have not answered my questions. The only response I can get is " the order is ready to ship". I have since ordered all new cabinets for my kitchen because this has really held up our project and I can't be without cabinets. We would like a full refund of our money, but cannot get them to respond to that request.Desired Settlement: $1700
Review: I ordered 35 cabinet doors and drawer fronts. The sales rep at ACME initially advised me the order would take 2-3 weeks. The items were not delivered until 7 weeks after the initial order and after many emails and phone calls to ACME inquiring of their status. When the order arrived nearly all of the 35 items were cut to the wrong size. I had to have to recut and refabricated at a local wood shop as they were all either too large or too small. This cost me an additional $200. ACME refused a full or partial refund and at several times did not respond to my phone calls or emails.Desired Settlement: At least a $200 refund to cover the required additional work needed to make the door usable

Response:
I am rejecting this response because: I did not have time to wait for you to take another 7 weeks to send a new shipment of correct sized doors. The first order was supposed to take 2-3 weeks. It ended up taking 7 weeks and this was only after I complained several times. The four additional weeks it took to send my order already delayed the sale of my house. I didnt have time to wait another 7 weeks for more cabinet doors further delaying my sale. Due to the fact that the original order was severely delayed and the many complaints about your company on both Revdex.com and [redacted], I had no faith that the corrected doors would be sent any faster than the original doors. More than half the doors shipped were incorrect size. It cost me $200 to get them remade or resized in order to list my house on the market. I am still demanding a refund to cover that portion of my expenses. If I do not receive the refund I will file a small claims court case here locally.

Review: Ordered $126 worth of cabinet doors August 6, 2015. Company indicated delivery within 3 weeks of order. Did not receive and contacted company. Indicated delivery would ship on September 17 (3 weeks after promised delivery). No delivery. Requested a tracking number October 3. No response at all.Have filed a claim with [redacted].Desired Settlement: I would like my money returned. I am no longer interested in dealing with a deceptive and unreposnsive company.

Review: Ordered 2 cabinet doors with hinges installed on Oct. 31 2013, was told to expect 6-8 Weeks for delivery. I called and emailed Acme Cabinet Door company on Dec. 20th 2013 and recieved an email response saying the doors were scheduled to be delivered on Jan. 13th. I have called 1,000 times and emailed 20 times since then, whith no response. TODAY IS THE 5TH OF MARCH 2014.I would very much like a refund. If the cabinet doors that I paid $356.15 for have been mistakenly handeled at your warehouse or what ever, I will still take the doors. REFERENCE Invoice number [redacted].Desired Settlement: Refund or properly fitting doors delivered.

Review: On 8/6/15 I ordered 4 cabinet doors. On their website it states standard orders take 2 to 4 weeks to receive. On 9/2/15 I emailed [redacted] their Production Manager to get an update on where my doors were. He replied on the same day that they were to be shipped on 9/4/15. On 9/14/15 I emailed [redacted] again to get the status of where my doors where and he stated on 9/17/15 that they were to arrive on 9/22/15. On 9/23/15, still no doors, I emailed him again wanting to know where the doors were and basically that this was ridiculous because they already had my money, but I had no product. His response on the same day was "Calm down, I'll check on your order status." On 9/24/15 I received a Paypal Status that when you click on the tracking number it went no where. So, on 9/29/15 I emailed [redacted] again to let him know that the tracking link wasn't working and that I still had not received my order. 9/30/15 he sent me another link to track my order which went nowhere again. That same day I emailed him stating that if I did not receive the order or a confirmation that they were showing up in the next three days that I was going to cancel my order and start the process to get my money back. His response "HEY BUDDY DON'T THREATEN US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ITS SHOWS IT HAS ALREADY BEEN DELIVERED." I responded with asking him if this how their customer service responds to concerns of orders taking to long, I then cut and paste the Terms and Conditions from their website of delivery times. I also, told him that we did receive the cabinet doors, but the order was missing the hinges to the doors. I have yet to hear back from him on where my hinges are at. Overall this has to be one of the worst experiences in dealing with buying something over the internet. I went and bought hinges, so I would like to get a refund on the hinges.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive a refund for the hinges I bought, but did not receive.

I not only didn't receive my doors, the company never acknowledged the transactuon. After collecting money they pretend you no longer exist. Thankfully pay pal is already aware of their Shadey practices and was quick to credit my account. Acme cabinet doors is rapidly becoming synonymous with fraud, so I doubt many more consumers will become victimized.
