A.C.E. Granite Innovations

We contacted [redacted] owner of "Ace Granite Innovations" to get an idea of what granite counter-tops for our kitchen would cost. Never was there a discussion as to how much or if there was the charge for a quote, If we would of known that there was a charge for a quote, we would of never considered him for the job. We did obtain several bids from different companys, and of course we selected the company that gave us a better price. We were nice enough to call Mr. [redacted] to let him know that that we had commited to another company. Mr. [redacted] was very upset that we did not select him for the job. Mr. [redacted] did not have the granite that we liked and his prices were higher that what we could afford. He text us back to tell us that he guessed that his opinions and advice were not worth anything. After we recieved his bill for what he called an estimate for $91.43 we of course were very surprised. We did call to ask about the bill and he said that he did not work for free and that we did have to pay. We have no idea how he came up with that figure, I guss he could of made the invoice for any amount. Not only is he billing us for something we had no idea was involved. The invoice also states that if not paid within 30 days that it goes to a collection agency. We do not understand how Mr. [redacted] can get away with this. We never agreed on any of the material and the measurements on the granite were provided by us.
