I have additional information in regards to my claim with Ace Wreckers.Per our conversation Monday I just spoke to the body shop guy he in informed me that other parts which I purchased from Ace Wreckers for my 2003 Acura were also wrong fittings for my car, which means...
my car has been put together very dolly badged! Which means all parts sold to me bye Ace Wreckers were sold to me incorrectly bye this company. My car looks awful!! This company has made me spend out additional monies due to them saleing incorrect parts, which mean I'm going to have to pay additional money to have it correctly done with these wrong parts. This has been a great! Inconvenience for me with no transportation for work etc., please see to it that this matter is looked into please!! Asap! Thank you! Mrs. [redacted] I HAVE RECEPITS FOR EVERYTHING I SPENT ! I'LL EVEN TAKE PICTURES , GET THE BODY SHOP GENTLEMAN TO WRITEYOU A LETTER! EXPLAINING ACE SOLD WRONG PARTS FOR MY YEAR AND MODEL CAR! THERE CROOKS! SMH!!
Review: I purchased a throttle body for a 96 corolla there, which they assured me would fit my car. It did not. I took it back and exchanged it for another one. The second one did not work. The product they sold me was bad. They do not want to refund my money back.Desired Settlement: This company should not be allowed to operate if they will be selling faulty products. I spent $35 and I would like my money back.
Review: On October 24,2014 I [redacted] along with my husband, came to ace wreckers to purchase parts for my car that was in shop for repairs, which required headlights which I presented the make and model to the employer which I told him the make and model of my vehicle and what was needed. I asked the employee at the time of my visit if any parts were incorrect could I bring them back! He replied bye saying yes! of course! No, problem! Mrs. [redacted].This employee who pulled up my part on his computer at the time of the visit! told me these headlights were the proper fittings for my vehicle. I never chose the parts off the computer I just told him the make and model, there for he was the one who gave me the wrong parts for my vehicle when the repair guy got to the part to place my headlights he said they weren't the right ones for my vehicle. I than called Ace wreckers letting them know to either give me the correct headlights or, return my money! he refused bye telling me they were the right parts I went back and further with him even asking to speak to,.. owner he refuse to give me any info! to the owner he gave me a credit which I have know use for anything in there, I even returned the incorrect headlights to his place of business and all he wrote on my receipts was $75 dollars on each receipt which wasn't fair because they made the mistake of issuing the wrong parts to the customer and now! telling me they can't give me my money back! due to timing! regardless of timing I was told if it wasn't right fitting I could return it with no problem! they selected the part and made the mistake of issuing wrong part why does customer have to be responsible for there actions?Desired Settlement: My, goal is to have my $150 dollars return due to them giving me the wrong! parts I even called several times trying to speak to Manager to contact Owner, I left messages with several employees.I ended up paying up $191.98. for the correct headlights for my vehicle, which I have receipts for, at another place of business. I do not wish to use their store credit, I want my money returned, THIS BUSINESS IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL Please see to it my money is returned to me please thank you! Mrs.[redacted]

Company states: The parts have a 7 day exchange. We told her we could do store credit. We gave her the parts that she had asked for. That is why we give them a week to check and make sure they are the right parts. I still gave her store credit for the full amount anyways.
