Accurate Home Leveling

Work not completed as promised. Will not show up to complete the job. I keep getting excuses. Also will not send receipt for money paid.
They were to level my shed. He only did one side and was paid. David said he only took cash and would email receipt. I paid half cash and half check. I called him back soon after he left and said, "it is not right and you need to come back." He said he would come back Thursday but never showed. This was on Aug. 24. He has not shown up and I call him 20 times a day and keep getting excuses. Mary has told me she would send me a receipt but has not. I have had several conversations with them and neither is doing what they say.

On August 9,2019 David Connelly came to our home to level it using a laser zip level he was by himself and only opened only one panel midway at the back of the house Both David and Mary were extremely polite and helpful at first.After paying David $850.00 cash (he said he couldn't take a credit card because his credit card machine was down waiting on a new one to be delivered)but he could take a check then when the job was finished he said he couldn't take a check because "the bank"
had messed up his account Mary said it was because "cheap customers had stopped payment on checks in the past" When we called 5 days later to get someone back out as our home still wasn't level per their one year warrenty I couldn't even lock the front door.Mary said they weren't responsible as my husband had replaced the storm door which doesn't attach to the door frame itself I got nothing but broken appointments and excuse after excuse and gave up trying after 3 weeks When my husband tried to go to their listed place of business he found an abandoned closed down ice cream parlor I'm 65 on a fixed income and cannot afford to throw away $850.00
