Accent Landscaping

Was approached for Snow removal Aug 11th am not receiving it Several calls have been made for fall clean-up and snow removal with no responceMr. [redacted] spoke to me about snow removal and as he was doing summer maintainance of my yard I was please to be having this taken care of now Aug. 11/14 he wanted half then the rest half way through the season, but appearred a week later and need the rest, as his equipment had been stollen. So I gave him the rest. all in all it wad 500.00 Desired SettlementI want my money back as I need to find someone else ot do snow removal.[redacted]

Accent Landscaping provided an official contract to do a job, collected the deposit for 1/2 the total cost of the job but did't do the job.On April 25,2014 Accent Landscaping gave me a formal quote for a small landscaping job that we required done at our residence. Approximately a week later we called the company to say that we would like him to do the job. At that time I was told that he required a deposit of half the total amount with the balance to be paid at the completion of the job. On May 13,2014 [redacted] from Accent Landscaping came to pick up a cheque for the deposit.[redacted]. the cheque was cashed on May 14, 2014. When [redacted] ,of Accent Landscaping picked up the cheque , my husband & I were told that he would order the supplies he needed that day, pick up the supplies the next day, but probably wouldn't be able to start the job till Fri, May 16, 2014 and if not he would have the job completed by Sat evening May 17,2014 for sure. He didn't show up on Fri. then on Sat it rained all day so I didn't expect him, but nor did I hear from him. Mon. May 19,2014 I was tied up all day and unable to call him. Tue. May 20 I called at 9:00 am and asked if I could expect him today. His reply was " Yes, we will be there shortly". He didn't show all day. I called several times during the day and left messages on his answering service each time. I never received any return calls or explanation. On Wed. May 21,2014 I called again at 9:00am and [redacted] answered the call. I asked what happened yesterday and would he be coming today? He gave no explanation as to why he didn't make it yesterday but said "we're on our way." I told him " That's great , I'll see you in a bit then".Again I waited around all day and he didn't show or answer his phone the many times I called . Each time I again left message with no response. I called each day for the rest of the week. my calls were never answered or returned. On Fri. May23,2014 I called again at 7:15 am. At this time a man answered the phone but said [redacted] was not there. ([redacted]). So I asked where he was. He asked me who was calling and I ,not wanting to give him my name and phone number just told him that I was a customer who had hired him to do some landscaping work, paid him deposit and not able to get a hold of him since. He told me that [redacted] had been out of town but was back now and if I would leave my name and number he would be seeing [redacted] in about 1/2 hour and give[redacted] the message. He was sure he would call me right back. So I did give him my name and number. Again no call all day. On Sat. May 24, 2014 about noon I get a call with Accent Landscaping Phone number on my call display ( [redacted], [redacted]). When I answered he asked if this was [redacted]. I said , " No, but this is [redacted]". He hung up on me. I immediately tried calling him again but the call was not answered each time I tried. I have had no communication with him since then. I did send an email to [redacted]@gmail.com on May 25,2014 giving him an ultimatum that if the job was not completed by May 30,2014 I would expect a refund of the deposit. I did not get a reply.Desired SettlementAS at this point it would seem the job is not going to get done , I would like a refund of the $250.00 [redacted] .
