I ordered insulin pump supplies 1 month prior to needing them to ensure I would get them in time. The secondary insurance denied my claim and it has been in limbo for 1 month. In the meantime I ran completely ran out of supplies causing us to return to Lantus and injections 4 times a day. Animas agreed to send me 2 samples in the mail however it was not the product I usually use and I had no idea how to use it. I messed up the inset trying to figure out how to place it. When I asked animas why they sent me samples that were different from what I use they said they did not have any samples of my insets. Forget samples!!!! just send me the correct insets. This pump cost 8000.00 and monthly supplies are about 200.00 a month. They have gotten their money on time every month for 11 years without fail. However when we run out due to no fault of our own they are completely uncompassionate. We are now 6 weeks into waiting for pump supplies with no resolution in site. I may have to change companies for pumps and supplies in the future.
