Aamco Transmissions

SCAM. Brought my vehicle in for transmission check. They never LOOKED at my transmission but charged me $900 for brakes and an oil change and said the gears slipping was a computer problem and to bring it back for a rebuilt trans "if" it persists. The vehicle broke down 5 months later and is costing me major damages because they never looked at the transmission when I brought it in originally. They have still never looked at the trans but are still insisting the computer needs to be replaced, based on the owners years of experience. The Chevy dealership said there is nothing wrong with the vehicle's computer. But I now have multiple tow charges, rental vehicle cost, new car cost, over night hotel stay costs, and a visit to the hospital for having been sent into pre-term labor after riding in a tow truck for three hours at 9 months pregnant. But, they are willing to credit the cost of the transmission flush, that I never approved or needed, if I pay them to do the $3K-$4.3K repairs now, plus the $450 tow from PA to NY.
