This business is a complete scam. There were several red flags that I picked up on from the start. First, when I called the lady who answered the phone just said hello, not the name of the business. Not until I asked if it was an appliance repair did she say it was. Second there were babies/kids crying in the background. She told me I would not be charged a service call if I had the repair done . So I asked how much that would be and she said $92.50. After I hung up I thought, what if they show up and give me a very high estimate for the repair, and then when I say I don't want to do it they just collect the $92.50 and there is nothing I can do about it. Third two women show up in a black Jeep instead of a repair van which I thought was a little strange. So they come in with this little tool bag and don't do anything but open the dryer door, push the light button, push the start button and inform me that when the light and the start button are both out it is always a certain thing and it will cost me $291.00 to fix my 3 year old $400 dryer. They did all of this without checking anything. They did not check the power, take a single part off the dryer, nothing. I am an honest person who just got cheated out of the service call, but what really upsets me is that they will continue to rip people off God knows how many times everyday, and there is probably not a thing that anyone can do about it. I assume if someone says they will have the work done they have a person who will fix it for half the price and give them the other half but I doubt many people do have things repaired because the estimates are so ridiculously high.
Jessica and Romona showed up for a service call I made to fix my whirlpool refrigerator. They were in a black car, which I thought was odd. I ask for a business license and proof of insurance, they had neither. They checked the temps and felt for ice in the tray. That was it, said I needed a new icemaker gave an estimate of $428.00. I ask if they carried parts in the car and they said yes, but not a icemaker. They over priced the estimate and did not tell me the cost of the part. I have since priced the part, with Sears its around $90.00 with shipping $105.00. Just want others to be aware this company is not to be trusted.
Our company sincerely regrets your decision not to utilize our service company. Service companies cannot compete with "do it yourself" prices. We drive SUV's vs Trucks because they are more fuel efficient and faster to get around town.
A few home-owners do not realize the high cost service companies pay for commercial liability insurance, and the cost of workman's comp insurance, then there is auto insurance, the cost of our office staff to answer the phones, rent for office space, utilities, the tools in the service cars, the wages we must pay to our technicians, and the cost of doing business in 2019 is a lot more then listed and mentioned above..
Our employees and owners do not carry on their person neither our business license nor proof of insurance, but all of those documents are hanging on our office walls., I will advise our technicians to use their cell phones and take pictures of the documents for the future.
Please take under consideration the reason the technician took the temp readings is because Ice-maker's do not activate if the temperature is not below 15 degrees. The technician felt for ice in the tray because if the tray has no ICE in it, the issue could be a frozen water line or defective water valve, but since the ice-maker had ice in the tray and no obstructions and since the temp was 5 degrees, the technicians concluded you had a defective ice-maker... and quoted you the price to research, order, pick-up and return to your home to install the ice-maker, and the price included a two year warranty for the ice-maker, and one year guarantee on our labor.
We do not think that the price was too high, and we know that 99% of all service companies which includes Sears Service Truck would not have your ice-maker on their service truck. It's impossible to carry all parts on service trucks, and the appliance parts required for ALL brands, and ALL models are not even in stock at the Amazon Warehouse, which are the largest warehouses in the USA.
We offer fast same day service 75% of the time, and our prices are very comparable to other appliance and HVAC service companies that have the same state, county and city licenses as we do, as well as liability insurance which we carry that offers client protection, such as insurance which protects their home and home contents even after the job has been completed.
I was very impressed with Christopher the moment he pulled into my driveway. He was prompt, he was very knowledgeable with my 26 year old Whirlpool clothes washer and he diagnosed the problem within minutes. He is a true professional. In the future, he will get all of our appliance repair business.
The google advertising page with the phone number does not mention a 100.00 cost to come out to your house. The people who answer the phones, set up a time to come out do not tell you about the 100.00 cost just to come out to the house. I tried to reason with them and explain we were never told of the charge and were told it’s our fault we didn’t go to the website and read. I was then told it will ost you a lot more than 100.00 to fight the charge then just pay us.
Excellent service. Easy to schedule and showed up right on time after calling to say they were on the way. My technician, Chris, diagnosed the problem immediately, gave the estimate and the repair was done in less than an hour. I would definitely call them in the future. Sonya
9/1 AAA Fast RepairService came by to service my fridge. the Tech shined her light on back of unit and concluded the problem was
The mother board with out as much as taking off a panel or using a voltage meter! I asked her how she knew without testing anything her reply was "I been doing this 20 years". ,She then required 281.00 as to cover half the mother board cost. She assured me the part and repair would be done by 9/6. She also said there is a 60% chance there where other problems, in that case the cost would be close to 1000.00 By 9/15 I had not even received as much as a phone call INEXCUSABLE.
Since I had to leave town for a week I called on the 15th to get a refund...They said they would refund minus 90.00 for coming out. It is now the 29 th . I called today and they said they could not pull up my records because the "owner's was out"
I called another company they came out, took off the back, ran a few voltage test and fixed the fridge in 10 minutes....It was not the mother board for which AAA was going to charge me 500.00 +
For nothing!!
