Thank you for your letter of January 21, concerning the complaint made on December 26,
"">ID of *** Simply put this is not our customer and we do not provide service In UTAH we are a Virgina based company and only have customers in VirginaPlease Remove this from My Listing and send me a copy of all un responded COMPLAINTS ISSUED AGAINST MY COMPANY as I fear that you have many other complaints that are unwarrented Feel free to send to ***. Thank You ADay Locksmith

I used the 800 number given to me by the company that I originally called in order to get my issues resolved. Clearly, this company operates a call center and "outsources" its locksmiths. There are many numerous occurrences of locksmithing companies doing this. The toll free number I called in order to resolve my customer service dispute is clearly operating in a DBA situation. This complaint SHOULD stay on this Revdex.com page.

Review: I called for a quote and was told 35.00 for the opening charge and 15.00 for them driving to me. I asked 3 times and gave the make and model of the car 3 times. When he came out he said 120.00 to open and if I didn't pay him it would be 15.00 for his service. He held my license and info until he was paid in full. I told him I did not have the 120.00 and he would take a 100.00 cash. I feel taken. It took him 30 seconds to open the door and he could not describe what vehicle would be a 50.00 service. There was no written info or price listing.Desired Settlement: 50.00 returned for the over payment.

Dear [redacted]:

Thank you for your letter of August 9, 2013 concerning the complaint made on August 8th.

ID of [redacted]

We appreciate the customer’s business. As well as her right to choose. With that being said we have in our system that the customer called us twice and was given the price quote of $35 starting and $15 service call. When the customer heard this on the initial call she immediately asked "IS THAT $50”, to which she was told "35 is the starting price". Her response to this was that she will check a few other places and call back if she needs us. Three Minutes later she called us back and placed and order this time she waited till the end to ask for our prices. Again, she was told that it starts at 35 and the service charge will be 15. She accepted the service. When the technician got to the seen she was properly quoted and they checked her ID. Once she had the price and decided that this was not reasonable the technician was due the service call of $15.00. Understanding that the customer might have misunderstood the quote given on the phone he then reduced his commission on the job and preformed the service for $100.00. For the customer to request a refund when she could have simple paid the service call is not rational. She had the opportunity to refuse the service.

For this reason the customer will not be receiving a refund.

Thank You

All Day Locksmith.

Review: I called this company on 3/29/14 to have them open the lock on my door. I was told that I will be charged $45 then the labor charge is $19 an hour. When the technician was here, he looked at the lock and told me he would charge me $45 plus $175 regardless work hour. When I confront him with what I heard from their office phone. I was told that the office just say so. And I have to sign before any work started. I signed and was charged $220 for such work. The work actually lasted less than 10 mins!

I consider this very bad cheating. I was never told the work is charged based on locks. I have all receipt with me from this work.Desired Settlement: I would like to recover my payment and charged by the hourly rate I was told.
