My name is [redacted], owner of A1 Restoration, I just received a letter stating that I did not respond to the accusation that I was conducting bad business...I understand that sometimes things don't arrive or get lost in mail, that is the reason that I made sure I put my responding letter...

directly in the postal workers hand so it would be returned with plenty of time for any review that was needed to clarify that I was not in the wrong.  I was actually helping a family that was dealing with some financial and family issues... As I explained in my letter...the fact that I have one goal when I'm working with a customer, to get their job covered 100%... with no out of pocket cost other than their deductible.  I was very good about clarifying that I was going to order the material and the deposit would cover that portion.  I also explained it would cost $3800.00 more for the crew to drive 4hr round trip and tear off roof, dispose old shingles and put new roof on.  Both of the parties involved were contacted at least one week, to see it they were ready for material drop.  They both told me no...they wanted me to continue negotiating with the ins. co. because they couldn't afford to pay the remaining cost...I did everything I could to get them covered and the ins co was ready to cover the balance.  I received a phone call with threats and disrespectful comments from their son-in-law saying he wanted a refund.  I worked to get the ons. Co to finalize everything and then they called saying that the same guy s.l.l. called and reported he wanted to cancel job...causing them to retract the additional payment.  I have tried to resolve this matter every way possible.  I have offered to cover half of the labor cost since I already bought and paid for material...they declined my offer...I decided to stop
