Once while live person calls and completely ignores me when I tell them to stop calling. This has been going on for months so I believe its time to find an attorney.
They called to offer me a better deal on diabetics monitoring supplies. I asked about the new technology that doesn't require needle sticks. They told me they could supply it and most would be covered by my Medicare, but there would be a co-pay. I asked how much the co-pay would be and they insisted on my giving them my full Social Security number before they would discuss anything else. At this point I became uneasy, broke off the call, and resolved not to talk to them again. Sounds like an identity theft scam to me.
You are sooooo D. They have to look up your account with MC to let you know co pays. BUT they really suck. never get a real person and they will robo call you early mornings daily for resupplies.
I have never, ever called this company, nor checked about any type of braces, C-Pap equipment, and ESPECIALLY NO DIABETES! Although I tried to get a real person when I returned their 30th call, I finally just put their number in my "block call" portion on my cordless phone. Although the phone will ring once, it goes no further.
Trying to reach this company is apparently futile, according to all the complaints I have read from others. It sounds like a nightmare and I don't know why someone hasn't filed a class-action lawsuit as of yet.
BBB used to be helpful in the 50's and 60's, but now they really do not do anything about these companies. It sounds to me like they aren't really even state-side.
Good luck to all of you who are continuing to have your Medicare gobbled up by these shady companies.
I have filed a complaint with the Memphis Mid South BBB more than a week ago and a case # was issued. Today, June 25, 2019 I get another call from A1 Diabetes, which indicates that company did not get the message. They have engaged in phone harassment for 6 months. I have not done business with them since November 2018. Since then, they have been calling, sometimes 3 times a day, evenings, weekends...differing persons...asking me to OK charging Medicare by allowing them to ship unwanted goods to my home. I sent them USPS letters, 4 emails, filed a complaint with FTC and the Attorney General of Delaware. A1 management is deliberate and ignorant.
The company sends requests for unnecessary medical equipment. The company faxes our office requests for medical equipment such as knee [redacted] and [redacted] - equipment that I (as an [redacted]) do not prescribe, and equipment that my patients deny requesting. Their forms state that the patient requested the device, but when I ask my patients, they say it is untrue. we have called and faxed A1, asking them to stop this practice, which I view as an attempt to [redacted], but the faxed continue to come. It is my opinion, that the company is hoping that physicians are too busy to read the request and will just sign off on it. Desired SettlementStop this practice of falsely sending requests for medical devices. If patients need supplies from A1, they (the patients) can ask their physician to send a prescription.Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
Demanded that I order things I did not need. And then when I refused to order they sent stuff anyway, and billed my [redacted] and insuranceI called back in December to order testing strips (ONLY) for my diabetes meter. The sales agent said that I had to get a new meter and solution as well as the strips. I told her NOPE I had 2 other meters brand already ALL I NEED IS THE STRIPS. She said that it didn't matter because I wouldn't have to pay for this stuff. I told her that SOMEBODY WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR IT!!! Her response was that [redacted] and my insurance would cover it... I said AGAIN NO NO NO I don't need anything but the strips... Although I had already given my information BEFORE this issue came up but I just told her to forget it I would find another company that would send me strips only. 2 weeks later a package arrived and low and behold it was a NEW METER, SOLUTION AND STRIPS FROM THIS COMPANY... I started the process of returning this stuff because I had ordered what I needed from another company. Well I sent it back and they received it on Jan 21 and to this date they refuse to refund [redacted] and my insurance. I now have not been able to pay the company that sent me my strips because these is were paid. I want them to refund my [redacted] and insurance NOW... I spoke a dozen times with [redacted] in returns. and I have proof that they received the stuff back...Thank youDesired SettlementI want them to stop being fraudsBusiness Response March 28, 2016[redacted] XXXXXDear Ms. [redacted],The Revdex.com requires a direct response to them concerning your request from March 2016. I never completed an order and they chose to ship what THEY DECIDED I NEEDED TO HAVE NOT WHAT I ACTUALLY NEEDED OR ASKED FOR. Then they acted AS IF I was the one in the wrong for returning the items that they sent me... This process took FOUR (4) MONTHS to get accomplished and I was the ONLY ONE PUSHING TO GET IT DONE. THIS COMPANY PUT UP ROADBLOCKS AND STALL TACTICS FOR MONTHS. IT WAS ONLY BECAUASE I AM A TENACIOUS INDIVIDUAL THAT I GOT THIS REFUNDED. OTHER PEOPLE WOULD HAVE SIMPLY GIVEN UP AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT THIS COMPANY STRIVES TO ACHEIVE DO THE BUSINESS PRACTICES THAT THEY ENGAGE IN. SO ABSOLUTELY NOT DO I AGREE TO THE RESOLUTION TO THIS COMPLAINT... Thank you [redacted]

They collected ded. money in January, but my deductible was already paid. They owe me $110.86 which I've called 4 times but have not yet got a refund I ordered diabetic supplies in late January. I received a letter that I had not met my 2015 deductible and the supplies couldn't be shipped until I paid $146.99. I wrote and mailed my check on February 7 in that amount. on 2/20/15, I had to call when supplies had not yet arrived, spoke w/ [redacted]. She said supplies were on way and I'd get a refund check for $110.86 as our 2015 Medicare deductible was met. On 3/24/15 I still had no check, so I called again, spoke w/ [redacted] in billing dept. She said check could take 60 - 90 days, but that I was scheduled to receive the refund. Still no check on 6/11/15, so I called again and spoke to [redacted], describing my problem. She told me it would take 60-90 days for the check to be issued. I told her I had been told that back on 3/24/15, and that this refund was due since February. She said all billing dept. employees were out to lunch. I told her that if I didn't receive the check by 6/19/15, I was going to report it to appropriate regulatory agency, and I requested a call back by someone in the billing dept. when they returned. I never received that call, so I called again on 6/11/15 and spoke with [redacted] in the billing dept. She would not let me speak w/ her supervisor, but said that they had my complaint and her supervisor was 'working on the check' as we spoke. I again said I would report them if I didn't receive the check by 6/19/15. I think they are counting on me forgetting to follow up on this (as a senior citizen) and I don't think this check would ever had been issued if I hadn't hounded them for it. I am not at all comfortable that I will receive the check by 6/19/15, and wanted this sequence of events to be on file for this company. We will not place any additional orders with them.Desired SettlementA refund check for $110.86
Rude and unhelpful. On 3/10/2016 I received 2 calls within 1 hour from (XXX)XXXXXXX and was hung up on both times after answering. When I called the number a woman answered and said she was looking for [redacted] and that since I wasn't her hung up on me again.
